CHAPTER 185

Roman looked around carefully as he stepped further into the room. Florence was behind him with the gun in her hand pointing towards her feet as he scanned the room tentatively as well. There was something wrong.

The house looked empty, but it surely wasn’t. Billy and Alive were still in here but where? They were very good hitmen, that was why her father had specifically ordered them to murder Roman. But luckily for Roman, she had been there in time to save his life. She wasn’t going to rub it all over his face because she was the one who had put him in that position in the first place.

“I don’t see anybody here. I think we are too late,” Roman said, turning to her.

Florence sighed and looked around. Roman was losing focus and anything could happen.
