Everyone turned to look at Hudson. "Hudson, you are back!" Tricia screamed as she scuttled over to where he was and hugged him tightly.
"I was so worried about you, sweety; I thought something bad had happened to you, but as I came home and saw the note you wrote, I was relieved that you were fine," she said excitedly.
"Yeah, I am fine, mom," he replied. After that, they broke the hug. "Why is the landlord chasing us out, mom?" He asked curiously.
"I haven’t been able to meet up with the schedule of payment, and he couldn’t be patient enough to wait,” she responded.
"Patient? You want to talk about patience?!" The landlord screamed as he ambled over to where they were.
"I gave you enough time to make the payment, but you weren’t able to do that, and now I have run out of patience; I want you and your family out of my apartment now!" The landlord yelled.
Hearing how the landlord was yelling at his mother, Hudson felt a lot of pain inside; he couldn’t tolerate it, and he decided that he was going to pay the landlord the rent from the money he had left.
"How much is the rent we are owning?" Hudson asked in a cold tone as he looked at the landlord.
"How much? Why are you asking that, as if you have the money to pay me? I know how poor you and your mom are; a poor student and bartender like yourself can’t afford to pay me anything," the landlord answered bluntly.
Hudson’s eyebrows pressed tightly together as his hand squeezed tightly into a fist; he was boiling with rage, but he tried calming himself so that he wouldn’t complicate the matter with the landlord any further.
"I have the money to pay you, sir; kindly tell me the amount we are owing," Hudson asked rudely.
"Alright, your mom is owing me 3000 dollars for the two months’ rent, last month and this month," the landlord answered as he folded his arms together with his gaze fixed on Hudson.
Luckily for Hudson, he still had about 3200 dollars left after purchasing a new cellphone. He took out all the money from his right pocket; they were all hundred-dollar notes each. He removed two hundred dollars from it and handed over the remaining money to the landlord. The landlord collected the money with his mouth wide open; he couldn’t believe that Hudson had that type of money with him. Tricia was also shocked to see that Hudson had that type of money with him.
The landlord counted the money to be sure that it was up to the 3000 dollars he told Hudson. After counting the money, he raised his head to look at Hudson. "It’s complete, so I guess you can all go back into the apartment," the landlord said softly. He turned to look at Tricia.
"I am sorry for harassing you and throwing your load out of the apartment," he said calmly, with shame in his eyes.
"I forgive you, but please don’t ever behave this way with me again, or else I will sue you," Tricia replied boldly.
"I promise, I won’t act this way again," the landlord said, after which he walked away.
Tricia grabbed Hudson’s arm, turned him around, and gazed into his eyes.
"You went missing for almost two days, and you show up with three thousand dollars. I know you don’t get paid enough at Traxx Club. Tell me, how did you get that money?" She asked, raising a questioning eyebrow.
"It’s a long story, mom, and I don’t think you would want to hear that now. Let’s focus on getting our things back into the apartment, and later I will tell you everything," he responded.
"Alright," she mumbled.

Hudson was laying on his bed in his bedroom. Last night, he completely avoided talking to his mom and letting her know where he got the large amount of money, he paid the landlord with last night.
Hudson had classes in college, but he didn’t want to go because he doesn’t have enough money yet, and he also planned on taking revenge on his course mates bullies that beat him up. If he wanted to show up back to college, he plans on having enough money.
I will have to restock on the things I will sell in the magical world. First, I need to sell more lighters in the magical world and try other products that might sell there. I don’t know when I will be going back into the magical world again.
"System, when will I be able to go back into the magical world, and when will I get my next mission?" Hudson asked out loud.
"You will be able to go back into the magical world in the next seven days, and your next mission will be given then," the system answered inside his mind.
One week, that sounds fine, I won’t be going to school then, I can do it, my goal is to make as much money as I can from the magical world and be able to take care of my family and also get my revenge on those bullies, he thought.
Hudson took out his cellphone, which was under the pillow that he was lying on. He dialed his boss at Traxx Clubs’ number; he wanted to quit the job. After a few rings, the boss answered the call.
"Hey, I couldn’t reach you last night; why didn’t you come for your shifts?" A manly voice asked from the other end of the call.
"I’m sorry about that, but I am no longer interested in working for the club anymore," Hudson responded calmly.
"What? Why? What happened? I thought you needed the money to be able to afford your college tuition and all those other things you told me about?" He bombarded Hudson with questions. Hudson was one of the best workers at the club, and losing Hudson was a big deal for the boss.
"Yes, but I don’t need the job anymore; I found a way to handle all that," Hudson answered.
"Okay, but can’t I do anything to make you stay? You are one of my most trusted bartenders."
"No, I have made up my mind, and there is nothing that can make me stay," Hudson answered.
"Alright if you say so, Goodluck Hudson," he said in a sad tone,
"Thanks," After that, Hudson ended the call. He let out a long sigh as he dropped his cellphone on the bed next to him.
Wow, I never thought I would have to quit that job one day; it seems like yesterday, when I couldn’t even think of quitting the job, Hudson thought.
He got down from his bed and went over to his wardrobe; he took out his blue backpack and walked over to his bed, where he sat at the edge of the bed. He opened the backpack and took out a long piece of brown paper that was wrapped and tied with a black rope. It was the map of the city in the magical world.
He opened the map and started looking at it. ‘This is what I will use to navigate through the city the next time I go there; I wish the system could give me that info and the direction, but I guess since it’s just a dual empire building system, there is so much it could do, I will have to figure out the rest on my own’ Hudson thought. As he looked through the map, he saw that the city has a magical academy that is not too far from the town he last visited. He also saw a landmark that was designed with the face of a man that was wearing a crown. He was curious about the magical academy because he recalled that when the system first bonded with him, he saw a column that said, "Magical powers," which signified that he could learn magic from the magical world. So, he concluded that he was going to visit the magical academy when he next visited the magical world.******Six days later, Hudson was walking down the hallway of the large mall that was close to his house. He was going shopping
Wow, ten lighters—this is great; I am glad I brought more than enough lighters with me, Hudson thought.Hudson removed his backpack and placed it on the counter as he brought out ten lighters from inside the bag. As he brought them out, Atticus saw that he had multiple lighters in his bag."Wow, it seems like you have enough lighters," Atticus said."Yeah, I am a businessman, and selling lighters is part of the products I sell," Hudson replied as he counted out ten lighters and dropped them on the counter as he closed his backpack and wore it on his back."That’s cool, these lighters are revolutionary to us here in this town," Atticus said as he carried a huge brown bag from behind the counter and dropped it on the table in front of Hudson. From the sound the bag made, Hudson could tell that the bag contained gold coins. Atticus carried an empty bag and placed it near the bag as he opened the bag containing the gold coins."You sold the last lighter to me for 100 gold coins, but now t
"Is that all, my lord?" Balthasar inquired calmly."Yes, and if he tries to resist you or fight back, make sure you kill him and don’t get caught. You can corner him in a dark location, but make sure you come back with the bag," Atticus instructed. After that, he described Hudson to Balthasar and told him Hudson’s name, just in case."OK, I should head out now," Balthasar said as he attempted to leave the store."One more thing, I don’t think he knows any magic, so he is not that big of a threat," Atticus stated in a rumbling tone."OK, my lord," Balthasar replied. After that, he went out of the shop.Atticus clasped his hands on the table in front of him. "That lad must be very foolish to think he can just come into this town with such instruments and think he would go back to wherever he came from freely. I am Atticus, Lord of the 16th! I only make profits," Atticus said out loud.******Hudson was walking down the street with a bright smile as he looked around. He was still ponderi
"I am sorry, my lord," Balthasar apologized as he raised his head to look at Atticus; his lips were trembling. He was scared to look at Atticus."I gave you a simple task and you couldn’t get that done; that bag could have changed everything around here. Get out of my sight at once!" Atticus screamed.Balthasar did a half bow as he went out of the shop through the back door behind Atticus.Atticus sat down behind his counter, placed his hands under his chin, and let out a long sigh.Balthasar failed me; those lighters and the things in that bag would have been very valuable and would have made me a lot of money. I should have gone to retrieve the bag myself, but if I had done that and failed, Hudson would have known I was the one after the bag and wouldn’t want to deal with me again. I hope after this incident he will still come around; I still need to get my hands on those lighters, Atticus thought.*********Hudson was walking down the street with the map of the city spread across h
Suddenly, he saw about three students walking past the front gate. He quickly thought that he should walk up to one of them and ask about the academy. As he was about to take one step forward, he felt a strong force dragging his legs backwards."What the hell is pulling me backwards!?" Hudson screamed as he turned to look behind him.A man wearing a long dark coat with a hood that was covering his head was dragging what seemed like an invincible rope backwards. And from how the rope was dragging Hudson backwards, he could tell that the man was the one pulling him backwards."Who are you? And why are you pulling me backwards?" Hudson asked in a rumbling tone.Suddenly, the man stopped pulling him and removed the invincible rope from his leg. Hudson could feel that the rope was no longer around his leg.The man walked slowly over to where Hudson was, removed the hoodie from his head, and looked at Hudson with his dark green eyes. "You are not a student in this academy, so why are you tr
Suddenly, Ajax started waving hand signs, and then a brown bowl that contained water appeared in front of them. Hudson stepped backward in shock as he saw the bowl. He didn’t expect a bowl of water to appear out of thin air just like that."What are we going to do with this?" Hudson asked, raising a curious eyebrow."This is going to be the first magic I am going to teach you. I want you to turn this ordinary water into very hot boiling water and wave it around after that," Ajax responded coldly, staring at the bowl of water."Huh?" Hudson mumbled as he raised his eyebrows in disbelief. He couldn’t comprehend how he was supposed to turn the water into boiling water."Yes, you are going to do it. I will show you the hand signs you are going to wave and how you are going to wave the water after that. First, I will teach you by showing you a demonstration. Make sure you look at what I am doing slowly and follow my movements," Ajax said as he shifted his focus over to the bowl of water.
*******The following morning,Hudson was walking down the road with one hand on the handle of his backpack. After waking up, he swiftly got ready and left the motel. He had booked the room he spent the night in for an extra two days, and he knew he would need somewhere to stay since he was going to be spending more than 48 hours in the magical world. He wanted to go and look for a spot where he could sell the remaining lighters and possibly the other items he brought to the magical world. As he was walking, a thought hit him. He took down his backpack and brought out his map. He looked at the spot where the motel was located on the map, as he was not that far from the motel. He then traced his steps from the motel to a local park that was nearby. He then saw a park with the name Grimm Park that was not too far from the motel. This is good, I hope I see people to sell to in this park, he thought as he closed the map and kept it inside his backpack.***Hudson arrived in front of the p
"Time to go and find Ajax; if I am going to be learning magic and going on missions relating to magic, I will have to enroll in the magical academy," he mumbled to himself. *** Hudson didn’t leave the motel with his map, as he was now familiar with the location where the academy was located. Hudson arrived in front of El Chante de Magnitoz. He looked at the tall building. After that, he shifted his gaze over to the black card and remembered that Ajax told him to rub the card on his forehead before he would appear. Hudson rubbed the card on his forehead. I will just have to wait now; I have done what he had asked me to do, he thought. After a few moments, Hudson felt a hand on his shoulder. He swiftly turned to look behind him and saw that it was Ajax. "Hi Ajax," Hudson said with a smile. "Hey Hudson, I got the message from the card I gave you," Ajax replied with a smirk. He was wearing a black garment that had a hoodie at the back. "So, how may I be of help this morning? You want
