Without warning, Malagar raised his hand, and a massive black energy orb the size of a boulder formed above him!
“Feel the wrath of darkness!”
BOOOM!
The energy orb shot forward at an incredible speed!
Elden and the others scrambled to dodge. The cave floor trembled violently as the energy orb smashed into the rocky walls, triggering a massive explosion that sent giant shards of stone crashing down.
“Don’t let him destroy this place!” Kaelar shouted, drawing his sword and dashing forward.
Renard also sprang into action, hurling several daggers at Malagar, but with a mere wave of his hand, Malagar effortlessly deflected all the attacks.
Vaelis raised his staff and chanted a spell. A burst of blue light shot from its tip, streaking toward Malagar.
However, before the magic could reach him, Malagar lifted his hand and conjured a shadow shield.
“A good attempt… but futile.”
Malagar gestured toward Vaelis, and suddenly the ground beneath him cracked open!
“Vaelis, watch out!” Elden shouted, but it was too late. The ground crumbled beneath Vaelis, swallowing him whole.
THUD!
Vaelis fell, his body trapped within the hole created by Malagar’s magic.
“Too easy,” Malagar scoffed.
“Enough!”
Valtherion’s voice echoed, and in an instant, the entire cave was engulfed in a dazzling blue light. The dragon’s body began to glow, radiating an overwhelming power.
With a single flap of his wings, a fierce gust of wind surged toward Malagar, hurling him backward!
Malagar sneered. “Finally, you act.”
Swiftly, Malagar locked eyes with Elden. “But you are the one I truly seek.”
In the blink of an eye, Malagar vanished and reappeared right in front of Elden!
Elden had only a fraction of a second to react.
He swung his sword, but Malagar caught it barehanded! “You’re still too weak, boy.”
Before Elden could retaliate, Malagar flung him into the air with one hand, then unleashed a blast of dark magic straight at him!
“Elden!!” Kaelar yelled, rushing forward to catch him.
But it was too late. The attack struck Elden head-on.
CRASH!
Elden was slammed against the cave wall, rocks crumbling around him, his body feeling as if it had been crushed by a giant hammer.
Blood trickled from the corner of his lips. His entire body trembled from the impact.
“You are no threat to me.” Malagar stepped forward, raising his hand once more to deliver the final blow.
Suddenly… something ignited within Elden. His eyes turned a glowing gold. His blood boiled. Blue flames erupted around his body.
Elden felt a power far greater than anything before. His dragon blood had awakened. Before Malagar could strike again, Elden raised his hand and deflected the attack with a single motion!
BOOOOM!
A surge of energy exploded between them, forcing Malagar backward for the first time!
Malagar narrowed his eyes. “Oh? You’re finally beginning to understand your power.”
Elden slowly rose to his feet, his body now surrounded by blazing blue flames.
“I will not let you win, Malagar.”
For the first time, Elden felt the full awakening of his dragon blood.
Kaelar smirked. “Finally.”
Renard chuckled. “Now this is going to be interesting.”
Valtherion gazed at Elden with pride. “Now, Dragon Heir… prove that you are worthy of our legacy.”
Elden locked eyes with Malagar, his determination unwavering.
The true battle… had only just begun.
......
Blue flames ignited around Elden’s body, making his aura feel even stronger. Malagar watched him with an unreadable expression, as if he couldn’t believe that this young man could awaken the power of dragon blood so quickly.
“Interesting.” Malagar grinned, his black cloak billowing in the magical wind. “But can you really control it?”
Elden didn’t answer. His hand gripped his sword tightly, now also engulfed in raging blue flames.
Kaelar glanced at him briefly. “Elden… are you sure you can control that?”
Elden nodded. “I will not lose.”
Valtherion let out a deep sound, like the rumble of an ancient dragon. “Prove it.”
Without waiting any longer, Elden shot toward Malagar at an incredible speed!
CLANG!
Elden’s sword and Malagar’s hand clashed in midair, creating a shockwave that shattered the cave floor beneath them. Elden pushed harder, but Malagar remained firm, his cold smile unwavering.
“Your power has grown… but you are still not strong enough.”
With a single motion, Malagar unleashed a wave of dark energy that sent Elden flying backward.
Elden twisted in the air and landed lightly on a large rock. He immediately leaped forward again, attacking Malagar without hesitation.
Their attacks exchanged at a speed impossible for ordinary eyes to follow.
Elden’s sword slashed Malagar deflected with his hand.
Blue flames roared black shadows devoured the light.
Kaelar, Renard, and Vaelis could only stand at the edge, watching the battle with caution.
Renard whispered, “If Elden loses, we have no chance of winning.”
Kaelar nodded. “But he must not lose.”
As the battle raged on, Valtherion watched Elden with sharp eyes.
“Be careful, Heir.” His voice echoed in Elden’s mind. “Dragon blood is a great power, but if you do not control it… you could become like Malagar.”
Elden clenched his teeth. “I won’t let that happen.”
Yet deep within himself, he could feel something unsettling…
This power… it was growing.
Stronger than he had imagined.
And if he wasn’t careful, he could lose himself.
Malagar smirked as he saw the hesitation in Elden’s face. “You’re starting to feel it, aren’t you?”
**Elden remained silent.**
“That dragon blood… it’s taking over you.”
Malagar stepped forward, speaking in a sly tone.
“No one can fully control dragon power, Elden.”
“In the end, you will either surrender to its power… or let it destroy you.”
“I can help you.”
Elden stared at him sharply. “I will never believe your words.”
Malagar chuckled. “Believe me… sooner or later, you will come to me.”
Elden felt his anger rising. The blue flames around him grew larger, burning wilder.
And in his heart, he began to feel fear.
Not of Malagar… but of himself. The Battle Is Not Over.

The artifact pulsed gently in his grasp, as if it possessed a consciousness of its own. 11 : The Buried City
Elden and his party left black wind fortress, the site of their previous battle, and continued their journey toward the astrahal desert. According to the Dragon's Tome, hidden within this desert was one of the keys to the ancient Dragon's Heart, an artifact capable of awakening the true dragon power within Elden. However, the journey to Astrahal was anything but easy. The desert was known as a perilous place, filled with desert bandits, magical creatures, and deadly sandstorms. Weakened and wounded from their last battle, they needed to move quickly before Malagar’s forces caught up with them.Under the scorching sun, Elden walked at the front of the group alongside Kaelar and Renard, while Vaelis stayed at the rear, shielding them with protective magic against the sandstorm. Despite his injuries from the last battle, Renard maintained his usual nonchalant attitude."You know? I'd rather face Malagar’s army than walk through this place," Renard grumbled, shaking off the dust from his
