Eyes

Lucas stood by the window in his study, staring blankly outside. His heart was filled with an anxiety that grew more consuming each day. For a week now, he had been receiving anonymous messages threatening him and watching his every move. The messages came relentlessly, leaving him constantly uneasy and vigilant.

“Watch every step you take, Lucas. I am watching.”

The first message came via SMS, then through email, and occasionally, a note was slipped under his door. None of these messages were ignored; each one made him feel more and more threatened. His wife, Luna, had nearly been hit by a speeding car with no license plate. Fortunately, Luna only suffered minor injuries, but the incident left Lucas terrified. He couldn’t bear the thought of losing his loved ones due to these unknown threats.
