Stalker

Lucas sat beside Luna’s bed, holding her hand tightly. Relief that Luna would be okay mixed with a boiling anger inside him after reading the threatening message. That’s when his phone rang again.

Lucas quickly answered it, hoping it was good news from Joe.

“Joe, any updates?” Lucas asked urgently.

On the other end of the line, Joe sighed deeply. “Lucas, we couldn’t identify who sent the terror box. No fingerprints or other identifiable clues. But I’m taking the leftover food in the box to the lab. Maybe we can find DNA traces or origins of the food.”

Lucas gripped the phone tightly. “Do whatever it takes, Joe. We need to find out who’s behind this. I can’t let these threats continue.”

“Alright, Lucas. I’ll report back as soon as we have something,” Joe said before hanging up.

Lucas took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. But before he could feel any real relief, his phone buzzed with a new message. He opened it, and his face immediately paled.
