Logan started at Valentina as if she just said something impossible, he was not sure if he heard her right or probably, he was probably the one reading meanings to it.

"What?" He queried.

"I am very certain you heard what I said anyway. I want us to be friends, can't I ask for that much?" Valentina questioned feeling disappointed.

"Why will you want to be friends with me? For what reason?" He threw the question at her. There should be no reason she would want to be friends with her, they are total strangers who are meeting for the second time today.

"Because I want to communicate with you, maybe if we are friends, you will talk more" Valentina gave her reason. Logan nodded his head without saying anything.
