“What?” Rachel and Linda gasped in shock, staring at the woman, expecting her to take back her words, but she didn't look like it. Rather, she looked as though if she was being asked to defend what she just said, she would do it with a full chest.

“Is it okay if I come with you?” Grandmother said as carefully as she could, as she couldn't read Harrison’s expression. The latter was shocked, but his expression told her more. He was in a place to reject her offer, and she was sure of it.

However, she didn't know the reason that drove her to the sudden urge of wanting to follow him. But she knew if she stayed with these people she called family she would either die sooner or later.

“Is that what you want?” Harrison replied. He had no grudges against her, even though she had done him wrong. He had a soft spot for her because she was old and had a few years to live. If not for that fact, he wouldn't even bat an eye when she called out to him.
