Heavy stares

“Sir, can I at least spend a few years here? I am not ready to retire yet.” Ramon said, even though Harrison looked firm with his words. All his life, he had dedicated it to work. He could as well call it a hobby. Retiring would just make him look jobless, and he hated that fact.

“You'll kill yourself someday if you keep stressing yourself. At least you can stay in your office all through. I see no reason for you to stress yourself when Whitman is there to take care of most things.” Harrison taunted.

“As long as I am serving you, I don't mind.” Ramon smiled as he walked in further and placed the document right in front of the table.

Sighing, Harrison leaned forward and picked it up. He should have known Ramon would be so stubborn to accept his offer, but that doesn't mean he would still let him keep working. He already schemed up something in his head but refused to say it in the meantime.
