Chapter 3

The doctor's face instantly changed. He released his embrace on his wife. "One moment." He approaches Dakota. "Can you wait in yout room?"

Dakota looked at the doctor named Loewi intently. "Why not stay here, Doctor? Are you afraid of your wife finding out you're cheating on her?"

Loewi's brow furrowed. He didn't understand why his patient would say that. Loewi was still calm in front of his wife. "What do you mean?"

The woman named Olive beside Loewi also frowned, feeling strange about their quiet conversation. "Why, is there something going on?"

Leowi smiled kindly, hiding his surprise at what Dakota had said. "Yes, this patient needs my help." He looked back at Dakota. "You can wait for me in the room, sir. I'll be right there with you."

Dakota smiled, then whispered to Loewi. "I know that you are having an affair with a nurse here."

Loewi is getting a strange feeling from Dakota. He holds Dakota's hand while speaking in a low tone of voice. "Let's talk about this in my office, sir."

Dakota stayed where he was, insisting that she didn't want to go to Loewi's room, until a slight disagreement between them made Olive feel that something was wrong with Loewi and her patient.

Dakota could hear Olive's confused inner voice. What's wrong with them?

Olive approached Loewi and Dakota, holding her husband's hand. "Is there a big problem?"

Loewi shook his head. "No, no. This patient is just in need of my care."

At that moment, Dakota again heard the inner voice of the nurse who was Loewi's mistress. It was Doctor Loewi and his wife. What were they doing there with the patient?

Dakota wandered around looking for the nurse, and sure enough, Dakota saw the female nurse walking towards them. At first, the nurse was polite to Olive, then approached Loewi in a casual manner as if there was no relationship between them.

"Excuse me, Doctor. Did something happen?" Alea was as polite as a nurse should be to a doctor.

Dakota smiled at the two people before him, then spoke in a low tone. "The doctor is having an affair with this nurse. At 9 pm tonight, you will meet and spend time together. Doctor Loewi will give nurse Alea a special gift."

Suddenly, Dakota's words shocked Loewi and Alea. Loewi immediately panicked, afraid that his wife would hear Dakota's words.

Loewi immediately looked at Olive behind her. Olive's face looked suspicious, with both eyebrows knitted together. Did Olive hear the man's words earlier?

Olive was even more curious when she saw Loewi's pale face looking panicked. "What's going on? Why are you talking in such a low tone? Is there something I can't hear?"

Loewi faced his wife, and then pushed Olive slowly away from Dakota. "Honey, this patient is an emergency. He needs my immediate attention. You'd better go home. I'll probably be home late tonight because I have a lot of emergency patients to attend to."

Olive was still suspicious of what was happening. She wondered why Loewi had to talk quietly to her patient. Wouldn't it be okay if he knew if it was about the patient's health? This was strange, but Olive nodded, obeying her husband's request to go home.

After seeing Olive's car leave, Loewi immediately pulled Dakota's hand to return to his hospital room. Alea followed. "You seem badly injured to say such strange things."

Dakota smiled as he stepped closer to the bed. "I did know that this nurse was your mistress." Dakota glanced at the Doctor's name tag. "Doctor Loewi."

The doctor became annoyed at Dakota. "Hey, don't talk nonsense. On what basis are you accusing us of having an affair? Do you have any proof?"

Alea snorted in annoyance at Dakota as she folded her arms before her chest. "You must have hit your head so hard on the road that you've damaged your mind! What you said just now, it's going to rub everyone the wrong way!"

Dakota smiled slightly at that. He shook his head. "Misunderstood? If you guys weren't having an affair, then why did you two come together to bring me back to the room?"

Alea looked sharply at Dakota. "It's because we care about you. You're still sick. You've been treated well, but you're making accusations."

Loewi pointed her index finger at Dakota's face. "You are ungrateful. Already, we'd better leave here than serve a man who is out of his mind." He tugs on the nurse's wrist, then invites her to leave Dakota's hospital room.

Dakota smiled while playing with his IV stand. "I'll tell your wife about this."

Loewi, who was about to open the door, became scared. He turned to Dakota, remaining calm. Even though he was cursing in his heart. Damn it, he's trying to threaten me. It will be bad if my wife finds out about this.

Loewi raised his hand casually with a grin. "Just report it. You won't be able to contact my wife. Besides, how can you report it to my wife? My wife won't be here anymore. And by the time she gets here, you will no longer be in this hospital!"

Loewi smiled with satisfaction. He wouldn't be able to do that. He doesn't know my wife's phone number, and he doesn't know my home address either. After all, the Voerlin area is a place that no one can visit without an interest. He will never be able to meet my wife.

Dakota, who heard Loewi's inner voice, smiled while looking intensely. "I will come to your house in the Voerlin area and meet her."

Suddenly, it made Loewi's eyes widen perfectly. Loewi was shocked to hear Dakota's words. Loewi's gesture instantly became tense. Meanwhile, Alea, beside hi,, still looked great in front of Dakota.

"Don't make up stories! You must be talking out of your ass!" Alea pointed her index finger at Dakota's face. "You don't have any evidence to report our relationship."

Dakota nodded. "Oh, so you've admitted to being this doctor's mistress?"

Alea was surprised that she had accidentally admitted this in front of Dakota. She was scared now. "You'd better shut your mouth if you still want to live. Without our care, you won't survive."

Dakota tried to rack his brain, thinking for a moment. What should I do next? This is the first time I've ever threatened another person.

Dakota looked calm, thinking of ways he could get out of this hospital without paying for the treatment. He held his breath for a few moments until he found something that might help him.

"I have one piece of evidence that could let your wife know you're having an affair." Dakota started making up stories in front of them. He hoped it would work. Smiling smugly, he looked at Loewi. "Cheaters, will try to hide their relationship very well so as not to get caught, but they always have something to remember it by. A videotape of them having sex for example."

Dakota remembers that many series of infidelity cases usually keep video footage when they have sex. And as it turned out, they both had them too.

Alea pointed her index finger back at Dakota's face. "What are you saying? We don't have any video footage like that." She held Loewi's hand. "Right?" She looked back at Dakota sharply. "You crazy man! You're just making up vague stories!"

Loewi clenched her hands tightly. Damn it, how could he have that? All the video footage of us having sex, I've saved it well on my home hard drive. How could he have them? I haven't even uploaded them anywhere. I remember that the hard drive was still neatly stored inside my bookshelf.

Dakota smiled happily because his guess was correct. He didn't expect that his trap had succeeded in making Loewi look even more tense. He got up, strolling with shuffling footsteps towards Loewi and Alea. "In fact, Doctor Loewi does have the videotape. I also know you keep the hard drive containing the videotape in your bookshelf."

Loewi's eyes widened even more at that. H-how could he know that? No way.

Alea was shocked by this. She didn't even know that their sex was being recorded. Then she remembered that Loewi always placed the cell phone at an angle facing them during sex. She even pointed the phone at her face several times when she climaxed. She didn't think Loewi would record it.

Alea held Loewi's hand tighter and tighter as she trembled. "Is that true? You record it every time we make love?"

Loewi froze in place, then nodded slowly, agreeing with Alea's question. Suddenly, Alea was even more frightened. Alea didn't expect Loewi to make the videotape.

Loewi looked at Dakota sarcastically, but couldn't hide the frightened look on her face. "What do you want? What is your real goal?"

Dakota smiled while turning his body around, her back to them. "I want you to pay off all of my 1,200-dollar treatment fees because I don't have the money to pay them."

"Asshole!" Loewi twists Dakota's body, grabbing the collar of Dakota's patient shirt. "You crazy bastard! Are you trying to rob me?"

Dakota threw Loewi's hand off his collar roughly. "Well, then I'll tell your wife right away and I'll spread your hot video footage all over the internet for everyone and the hospital to see!"

Leowi and Alea were even more shocked. Their eyes widened. Loewi was terrified now. Their faces turned even paler. Their bodies stiffened. Damn it. What should I do?

Alea covered her trembling mouth. It's bad. Don't let everyone know about this. Don't let my family see the videotape. I'll be so embarrassed. Don't let that happen.

Alea gripped the hem of Loewi's clothes. "What should we do?"
