“Did you hold on to that question for too long?!”

Matthias held his laughter at Mirella’s fit.

“Laugh all you want, you ignorant asshole,” Mirella cursed at him. “I may look like this but I am way older than you.”

“I find that hard to understand,” he bantered, looking up and down at Mirella several times.

Annoyed, Mirella pushed the vase beside her as if throwing a tantrum, scattering the fake flowers on the floor and shards of the broken vase.

“And you’re acting like a kid right now,” Matthias said, irritating Mirella more.

“I apologize for bursting your bubble but this isn’t how I usually act when I am acting as a child. If you’re curious how I am when I’m throwing tantrums, why don’t you follow me for a while? There’s a place that I want to show you.”

Matthias’ eyes brightened when he heard that he could finally get out of that room.

Although it won’t mean that he can escape from Mirella’s confinement now, it is still better than becoming a stagnant water inside that room.
