IMPORTANT PERSON ( Part 4 )

I woke up in a very dark and cold place, and I just realized that I was lying on the body of a bear monster who also fell along with me.

It seems that some parts of my body had broken bones. I fell to the bottom of a very dark abyss, so I made up for it. And yes, this bear monster is definitely dead.

Thank you bear monster. If it weren't for you, I'd probably be crushed.

I patted the bear's body several times and finally it came down from above him. Because it's too dark in this place, I activated my fire sword skill.

The sword began to emit a bright light and made the surroundings visible. Apparently the bottom of this gorge is completely empty, there is only a small river that stretches along this ravine.

I sat on the ground and thought about what steps I should take next. Although actually I already have one goal, which is to return alive to avenge Axel's actions.

Okay, so what should I do to get out of this place?

Around here there's a lot of water, so I'm pretty lucky I guess. But I have one problem, I have no food. I saw no sign of any living creatures and plants at the bottom of this abyss.

It seems that the bottom of this abyss has never been touched by sunlight, and that is the reason why the ecosystem at the bottom of this abyss doesn't work. For now, bear monsters are my only source of food to survive in this place.

*Grooowwlll…*

The sound from my stomach sounded very loud, and I immediately stroked my stomach when I heard this.

*Sigh…* looks like I have no other choice. I have to eat the flesh of this monster to survive.

I immediately skinned the bear monster using the only tool I had, namely a sword. After skinning it, I cut the bear flesh into several pieces. I also cut the nails of this monster to make a knife.

I burned the flesh of the bear monster that I had cut using a magic sword skill. With the heat generated by my sword, I used it as a grill and cooked the meat up there.

I flipped the meat several times using the knife I made using the claws of a bear; and after waiting a while, finally the meat was cooked. This meat gives off quite a nice aroma, so I guess it's fine if I eat it.

*Gulp…* I swallowed my saliva while cutting the freshly cooked meat.

All right… let's do it.

I took some of the meat and put it in my mouth. I even closed my eyes for fear that the taste of this meat wasn't what I expected.

Mmmh…? I don't think the taste is too bad, even I can say that this meat is in the delicious category.

After knowing the taste, I continued to eat this meat until it made my stomach full. Once my stomach was filled, I began to prepare various necessities to travel to find a way out of this place.

First of all, I packed my groceries using the outer I was wearing and I've changed its function into a bag. I also brought some knives made of bear claws.

I don't have a water supply device, so I can't carry a water supply on this trip. I just hope that the flow of this river will continue along my journey.

After finishing all the preparations, I also put on the fur of the bear monster that had been skinned by me as clothes. With bear fur so thick, I wish I could withstand the cold air in this place.

Using the sword as a light, I was ready to start this journey.

“I SWEAR!! WILL GET OUT OF THIS PLACE, AND REVENGE ALL YOU DO!!”

I screamed really loud to motivate myself, and finally started this journey.

Now it's been about two or three weeks I've walked down this ravine, I don't know the exact time because this place is never touched by the sun. My food supply is also running low, maybe I can only eat for the next two or three days.

The bottom of this abyss turns out to be really empty. I've been exploring this place for days but have never found any signs of life from any animal.

I also have to sleep on the ground and rocks, but luckily I have bear fur that I can use as a blanket. If the feathers weren't there, I'd probably freeze to death in this place.

I used sword skills continuously, it drained my physical and magic power twice as fast as fighting. So as much as possible I have to rest myself as best as possible.

Even though humans have very low magic capacity when compared to other races such as Devils, Elves, Beastmen, and Fishmen. But humans are able to restore their magic power just by resting, that's the explanation the Witch Zeris once told me and the rest of the Hero party members.

Today I'm still walking down this abyss, I'm still determined to get out of this place even though I don't know how long. Until I finally found a light far ahead.

I immediately ran towards the source of the light without paying any heed to anything. I felt my steps were very light on the way there, maybe because I was too excited.

Way out! That must be the way out.

With very high expectations, I ran very fast towards that place.

I was really surprised when I arrived at this light source. The soil and rocks in this place shine so bright light, even the ground in this place has become like crystal.

Woah… this place is so amazing.

I am endlessly amazed by this place.

“Hmm, this is weird. How come there are humans in this place?”

I was really surprised after hearing a voice coming from behind me. Her voice sounded so soft and beautiful, but also scary at the same time. When I looked back, a giant dark purple Dragon was looking at me with a very scary look.
