As Elvis stood before the captive serpent, his unwavering composure was a stark contrast to the fear that had taken hold of Charlotte, who cowered behind him. Though it was the first time he had seen her truly afraid, he remained unfazed.

"You are no ordinary serpent, for you possess the gift of speech," Elvis stated calmly. "Perhaps you have chosen not to take human form, or it is simply beyond your capabilities."

The serpent remained silent, but its eyes betrayed a hint of admiration for Elvis's composure.

"Do you have the power to set me free?" The serpent asked skeptically.
