Leo parked his car a long distance from the entrance to the Red Fruit Mangrove and proceeded to hike slowly into the forest. He was nervous and jumpy and his eyes kept on skittering from left to right as he expected monsters to jump out at him at every turn.

He watched the beautiful red fruits dangle from the branches of the trees and felt an almost arcane attachment to them. He knew to they were poisonous and that was common knowledge but he was from the Divine Clan and was immune to poison so he had nothing to fear from the fruit.

He reached up and plucked one of a tree and stared at it intently for a while before biting hard into it. He didn't know if he had to peel off the back or lick through the skin but he didn't want to think at that moment as he let his mouth savor the taste off the fruit.
