Sylvia had called ahead, so the whole family eagerly anticipated Eric and Sylvia's return for dinner.

Despite Sylvia's insistence not to wait, fearing it might inconvenience everyone, Amelia insisted they must.

What did it matter if dinner was delayed? The paramount thing was being together as a family.

"Mom, just take a look first," Sylvia urged.

She then called for Seraphine, Misty, and Queenie to join them.

All were curious about Sylvia's intentions. What could be in that box that warranted such secrecy?
