Chapter 6: Slap in the Face!

Aboli furrowed her brows, immediately stepping forward to grab the collar of the chief physician.

Her strength was considerable, and the chief physician was quickly pulled upwards.

She spoke icily, "What were you just doing? I told you not to touch my grandfather! Can you bear the consequences of this?!"

The chief physician felt somewhat intimidated, but quickly raised his voice, "The issue here isn't about my competence being insufficient! Clearly, it's because of your friend, he must have done something for your grandfather to end up like this! I just happened to be coincidentally involved!"

Aboli was truly furious, almost laughing at the chief physician's attempt to say something more.

Without hesitation, Aboli raised her hand and slapped him hard.

The slap was so forceful that it caused the chief physician's face to tilt to one side.

In a stern tone, Aboli said, "Don't speak nonsense at a time like this, you useless fool!"

After her words, she quickly pushed the chief physician aside and promptly dialed a number on her phone.

On the other end, Ethan's voice could be heard. He asked what had happened.

Aboli almost immediately replied, "Can you come back right away? Something has happened, and my grandfather is in critical condition!"

After a while, Ethan returned, seeming not to have gone far, so his return was swift.

Upon seeing Mr. Campbell lying on the bed, Ethan almost immediately furrowed his brows again. "I told you not to move him."

Before he could finish, a hurried and angry voice interrupted, "How dare you say that? It's all because of your bizarre treatment method that the patient is now in critical condition!"

Ethan glanced at the chief physician, almost immediately deducing that he was the one who moved Mr. Campbell.

He spoke disdainfully, "As a doctor, it seems you're better at avoiding responsibility than treating patients."

The chief physician seemed surprised by Ethan's response, about to retort.

But at that moment, Aboli suddenly stepped forward, pushing the chief physician aside, and quickly said, "Ethan, you need to save my grandfather right away!"

The chief physician pursed his lips, unable to accept it, and said, "He's definitely a fraud!"

Ethan paid no attention to him and approached the patient's bedside.

Just as he was about to lift Mr. Campbell, the chief physician suddenly rushed forward, shouting, "You can't treat indiscriminately, you can't make the patient's condition worse!"

Ethan frowned at the clownish figure beside him and said in a low voice, "I think I should leave."

As he finished speaking, Aboli quickly stepped forward, delivering another slap to the chief physician's face. "I told you to shut up!"

With that, she pushed him out of the hospital room.

Aboli paid no mind to the resentful look from the chief physician, only saying to Ethan, "Please, save my grandfather."

It was a brief sentence, but the pleading in her eyes was unmistakable.

Ethan glanced at her for a moment before saying, "I need you to prepare some cockroaches, butterflies, and flies for me, just those things, don't bring anything extra."

Aboli almost immediately nodded, the current situation leaving her no time for doubt.

She looked at Melly and said, "Have someone prepare these things within half an hour. And if you don't want our grandfather to die, it's best you don't do anything foolish."

Melly pursed her lips in dissatisfaction, feeling repulsed by what Ethan requested.

But under Aboli's cold gaze, she could only quickly lead the person away, knowing that causing trouble would surely anger her. She feared that.

After Melly left, Ethan quickly lifted Mr. Campbell and repeated the previous treatment.

His energy flowed into Mr. Campbell's body, bolstering his strength, ensuring he could endure until Melly returned.

The chief physician stood at the hospital room door, revealing a contemptuous expression.

However, he didn't dare to approach, just stood there, his face as if watching an amusing play.

"He's an arrogant fool, let's see what he can do!" he muttered.

Half an hour later, Melly returned right on time.

Those ingredients were placed in a jar, which Melly reluctantly handed to Ethan.

Ethan glanced at Aboli and said, "Bring me the tea bag."

The tea bag had been prepared by Ethan beforehand. He put the ingredients into the tea bag, holding the glass jar in his hand.

The chief physician, seeing this scene, mocked, "If you can really cure the patient, I'll eat this tea bag."

Ethan gave him a look, then suddenly smirked, "I hope you won't regret those words."

The chief physician's expression was disdainful, clearly not believing that Ethan could cure Mr. Campbell.

Ethan paid him no mind and simply placed the tea bag on Mr. Campbell's nose.

Energy flowed from his hand into the tea bag, causing some sort of transformation within.

Some energy also flowed into Mr. Campbell's nose. Then, a chilling scene unfolded.

Mr. Campbell's body suddenly twitched slightly.

Then, he opened his mouth, and strange creatures resembling long-legged spiders crawled out of his mouth.

But upon closer inspection, it was clear that these were not actual spiders; they resembled slimy fluids with a spider-like appearance.

These slimy fluids seemed to have a life of their own, frantically crawling into the glass jar that Ethan had placed near Mr. Campbell's mouth.

Except for Ethan, everyone present widened their eyes, astonished at this spectacle.

They didn't even have time to determine if those were actual spiders before Ethan quickly withdrew his hand, placing the glass jar into his pocket.

However, the others quickly lost interest in this phenomenon.

Because Mr. Campbell's body suddenly opened his eyes and then slowly sat up!
