Daren had arrived at the mansion. In the living room was Make, his new assistant, Arsen's replacement.

"You're home?" asked Varro in surprise, having been gone only an hour. His son was back again.

"Yes, father, there was an unpleasant incident on the road." Daren complained, his hands massaging his head. The lingering effects of the aroma therapy made Daren's head still feel dizzy.

"Daren was scammed by a beggar woman," Daren said.

"What do you mean, Daren? You don't understand?" asked Varro frowning.

"Are you sure that the beggar woman is really a beggar? I mean, are you not suspicious of her?" said Make, feeling ambiguous.

"What Make said has some truth to it, Daren. It's possible that the beggar woman was sent by someone," said Varro sensing what Make was feeling.
