SO, LAURA AND CHARLIE?

"You're a killer! The evidence is clear that you're a killer, Daren Navarro!"

The people around him kept cheering and shouting insults. They didn't care about Daren's explanation. Irritated, he continued on his way, trying to stay away from the crowd that continued to insult him.

The case of Vivian's death was still being discussed. They wanted to know how it went. Maybe it was because Vivian was the wife of a famous actor, so the news about Vivian's death by cyanide poison became a trending topic.

Daren rubbed his stomach; hunger was starting to set in, the worms in his stomach had started screaming.

"I'd better buy some food over there," Daren muttered.

When Daren tried to buy food at one of the bakeries, the baker gave him a cynical look. "We don't serve killer like you," the salesman said in a cold tone.

"Fine, thank you," said Daren, who chose not to fight back because he had no power at the moment. If there was real evidence, Darren might have shown it to those who had called him a killer.

Daren walked away from the shop with a confident stride.

Why should Daren be afraid and look down? The fact was that he was innocent.

However, Daren, who was feeling unbearably hungry, decided to head to a small restaurant not far from the bakery where he had been mistreated.

As he entered the restaurant, a number of eyes immediately looked at him with piercing stares.

"Can I order food here?" Daren asked the waitress in a friendly manner.

The waiter looked at Daren for a moment before saying, "Sorry, we can't serve you here. We don't want any trouble with other customers."

Daren was annoyed. He didn't understand why he had to continue receiving this unfair treatment. Nonetheless, he tried to remain calm and not cause trouble in a public place. He decided to go look for another place that might be willing to serve him.

After walking for a while, Daren found a café that looked busy with customers. He went in and sat at an empty table. The waitress who served Daren looked a little hesitant but eventually approached the table where Daren was sitting.

"Can I order some food?" Daren asked.

The waitress looked at Daren for a moment before nodding, "Sure, what would you like to order?"

Daren ordered his food and sat down to wait for his order to arrive. Meanwhile, noises from other customers could be heard in his ears. Some of them were gossiping about Daren's case, which had become a hot topic on social media.

"Hey, that's not the guy who poisoned Laura's stepmother, is it?" a customer whispered to his friend.

"Yes, he is. Why is he here? Could he be released?"

Daren remained calm in response to their words. The most important thing now was to fill his stomach. The little money he had left was enough to fill his stomach. Just after he was released, Barra returned Daren's wallet and cell phone.

However, Daren still felt there was no place for him in this world. But he couldn't just give up. Daren had to stay strong and try to change the way people perceived him.

When his order arrived, Daren began to eat with gusto. He didn't care about the stares and whispers that kept haunting him. He just wanted to finish his meal and get out of there as quickly as possible.

After finishing his meal, Daren paid for his order and left the cafe at a brisk pace. He didn't want to stay any longer in a place that made him feel unwanted.

"I'd better get back to Laura's house; I need to get my stuff," Daren muttered.

***

Daren walked towards his ex-wife Laura's house after spending seven days in prison. His heart was filled with disappointment and curiosity. He wanted to retrieve his belongings that were still left in the house.

Arriving at the house, Daren was surprised to see the door unlocked. Hesitantly, he went inside. Somehow, the atmosphere in the house felt so strange and made him suspicious.

When he began to hear moaning sounds from the living room, his heartbeat grew louder. Daren sneaked over to the source of the sound and was wide-eyed at the sight he never expected.

"Uh, Laura darling, you're really good, darling," Charlie moaned, his body covered in sweat.

On the sofa, Laura and Charlie, her stepfather, were making out passionately. They were too engrossed to notice Daren's presence.

"Bastard!" cursed Daren, clenching his fists. Daren's emotions were mixed: angry, confused, and hurt. "Turns out it was Laura and Charlie who had the affair. Oh God... How could Laura and Charlie do this behind me and Mrs. Vivian's back?" muttered Daren with piercing eyes. He wanted to surprise Laura and Charlie, but he didn't think it was necessary. It was enough to know.

In the end, he chose to leave the house unnoticed by Laura and Charlie.

After leaving the house, Daren thought hard while walking without direction. "What really happened in that house? Could Laura and Charlie be working together to slander me?" These questions haunted his mind.

The more Daren thought, the more he was convinced that it was most likely Charlie who poisoned his own wife, Vivian. Daren regretted why he hadn't suspected Charlie and Laura from the start.

"Wait, wait! During that incident, Laura suddenly came out of nowhere, even though she had previously said that she was going to design the wedding dress of a top actress. But why, just when Laura was gone for half an hour, she came," Daren muttered.

"Then, suddenly the police came to the house. This is really strange. I have to take action immediately. I can't let the real criminals breathe fresh air," Daren says with determination.

Daren continued to walk without direction or purpose. He also had no money left.

"Should I just sell my cell phone?" muttered Daren.

Without thinking, Daren immediately rushed to a mall to sell his cell phone.

Daren stepped into the mall confidently, even though he knew that his arrival would be the center of attention. The reason was that Daren had allegedly poisoned Vivian with cyanide, making his name bad in the eyes of the public.

As soon as he entered the mall, Daren felt that people's gazes were immediately focused on him. But he remained calm and continued his steps towards the cellphone shop that was his destination. Daren intended to sell his cell phone, hoping to earn some extra money for his daily needs.

Arriving at the cell phone shop, Daren immediately met the shop assistant.

"You---? You're not the one involved in the murder case, are you? What are you doing here?" the shop assistant asked sarcastically.

"I want to sell my cell phone," Daren replied calmly.

"We don't accept goods from murderers!" the shop assistant shouted, making some of the shoppers turn around.

Daren was upset, but he still tried to keep his temper. "I'm not guilty. I didn't do what I'm accused of," he said. "If I was guilty, I wouldn't have been acquitted!"

"I don't care! I don't want to get involved with people like you!" the shop assistant said in a stern tone.

Hearing those words, Daren couldn't contain his emotions any longer. Furious, he hit the counter hard enough to make a loud noise. Several people around the shop immediately looked at Daren with shocked expressions.

"I'm innocent!" Daren shouted, before turning around and walking away from the cell phone shop.

As he walked out of the mall, Daren continued to grunt in annoyance. He felt unfairly treated by the people around him. However, he couldn't help but try to prove his innocence in Vivian's death.

"This can't go on! I must quickly find out the mystery of Vivian's sudden poisoning after drinking my coffee!" Daren growled.
