"You see, Andrew, your little downfall—the courtroom, the divorce, the scandal—it wasn’t just fate dealing you a bad hand." He paused, letting his words hang ominously in the air. "It was me."

Andrew's breath caught in his throat. His thoughts spun wildly.

"You… you are not serious, are you?" Andrew stammered, his voice was trembling.

General Stormbreaker’s face darkened, and without a word, he swung his hand.

The back of it cracked against Andrew’s face, sending a sharp, hot pain through his jaw.

Andrew gasped as one of his teeth flew from his mouth, clattering onto the floor.

"Do you think I came all the way down here to lie to your stupid ass?" General Stormbreaker growled.

Andrew’s whole body shook. He no longer had any doubts. The general was serious.

He remembered everything—the chaos at his father’s birthday party three years ago, his own humiliating arrest, and now, the court ruling that had taken sixty-five percent of his assets and given them to his ex-wife, Linda.
