Chapter 7

Before it started, Samuel had placed the letter about Professor Geni wanting to meet with Professor Dorian in the men's room.

And went straight to the medical room when he saw that Dorian seemed to be on his way to Professor Geni. He had also purchased a small magical recording device.

It had been placed in a place that would never be suspected. Under the bed they were sitting on.

Samuel wanted to confirm the rumors. To lure Dorian into a position where it would look like they were lovers. The risk was great, Samuel could be expelled from the Academy for having a relationship with the professor.

But it wouldn't be Samuel if he didn't take great risks.

There were two possibilities that determined whether the rumor was true or false. First, if it was true, Dorian would turn a blind eye, and if it was false, he would inform the headmaster immediately.

What if Dorian turned a blind eye because he was persuaded or given something by Geni?

Dorian is not the type to be easily persuaded. No matter how innocent he looks, he can never be tricked. Pretty stubborn.

And about being given something. That's favorable. For a Dorian, what would Geni give him? Samuel waited for this moment.

"Am I interrupting?" asked Professor Dorian, causing Geni to let go of the hug.

"Ah, since when is Professor Dorian here? Don't misunderstand what happened earlier. I only advise students," Professor Geni said, standing up.

Professor Dorian smiled as he entered the room, as if he hadn't seen Samuel's grin earlier.

"I understand Professor, don't worry. Is the consultation over? I have something to say."

"So-sorry for interrupting. I'll go out so the professor can talk, thank you for saying those words. I'll keep coming here in the future, see you Professor!" Samuel exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes, come back another time. Don't get hurt, okay?" Professor Geni stroked the top of Samuel's hair.

Samuel nodded enthusiastically and walked out of the room. As he passed Professor Dorian, he whispered about how beautiful Geni was. Without the professor appendage.

"So, what's there to talk about?" asked Geni after seeing Samuel close the door.

"That boy is eavesdropping, are you sure you want to talk about it?"

Ah, Samuel had been spotted. He was indeed standing outside the medical room, eavesdropping on what they were going to talk about.

He was doing it on purpose.

"I'm sorry, Professor. I'm really going!" Samuel called as he ran away.

He wanted Dorian to focus on his presence instead of the other way around. Usually, when the professor wanted to talk about something important, he was always sensitive to his surroundings. Not magic, but experience.

So what Samuel was doing was nothing more than protecting the recording device inside.

"Slimes, are you waiting for me? Hey, where are you going?!" Samuel called after the slimes.

Instead of waiting by doing nothing, Samuel decided to hunt the slimes. He wanted to hone his fire magic, and he wanted to find out to what extent the eyes would not change and create strange patterns on the cheeks.

Imagining a round flame surrounding him, Samuel began to practice his magic. At the top of the hill where the slime were watching.

The result was quite simple. Samuel's condition is still normal. Indicating that he did not use excessive power.

Then how about creating a fireball and throwing it?

"Aah! That was a fireball, I almost died! Who dares to throw that?" a student shouted.

Did Samuel throw it wrong? Or was this person in an emotional state?

"Hey, who are you? Come here, you idiot! I said come here!" the bulky man ordered.

Did Samuel have a problem with his eyesight? He saw an old and ugly looking disciple.

Is there a Level One with a face like that?

Besides, it was the first time Samuel had met anyone in this huge mountain. That was either a bad or a good sign.

"I'm sorry, sir. Did my magic hurt you? I really didn't mean to. Please forgive my mistake, sir." Samuel continued to bow.

Samuel deliberately said "sir" to check the nature of this person. Happy or otherwise.

"Hmm, you are good at recognizing people. I am indeed a master, I will forgive the matter on one condition," the man stroked his chin with a grin.

Fool. This guy turned out to be a little pest.

"What condition, sir? I will do it."

"Give me all your silver and kill a lot of slimes for me."

Besides being stupid, this guy was poor.

No one who was rich asked for silver or hunted here, except for people from poor families.

Samuel should have understood that right away. He seemed to need a break.

"By the way, sir, are you alone?" asked Samuel, clenching his fist with a bright smile.

The student automatically took a step back. He felt the unfriendly atmosphere of the man in front of him. He felt like he was dealing with a monster.

"S-shit! Don't you dare come near me, or-"

"Or what? Don't you dare come near me or you'll know the consequences? Don't you dare come near me or you'll regret it? Hahaha, why are people so simple?

In the beginning so confident, when one thing is different from the desire is immediately scared like you. Do you know why?" Samuel smiled brightly, but an eerie aura came out.

Actually, after seeing the power of the fire earlier, this person did not need to curse at Samuel as if he had stronger powers. No matter where he looked, this disciple was not stronger than him.

So where did this arrogance come from?

"Because people are weak." Samuel managed to corner the student.

"So that is your answer, lowly student? Well, I don't need to hold back. I'm going to kill you this very second."

Something was strange. This person's body was slowly growing a little larger, and his skin was turning into earth. Earth that looked strong.

Samuel forgot that he should never underestimate anyone, including the ugly disciple in front of him. He might have great strength.

"Haha, look, I'm stronger than you, lowly boy!"

It felt like this guy was even more condescending than Samuel.

"Are you an intruder? There's no way an ordinary student can control earth magic so well, are you perhaps one of the spies from Pedon Land?" asked Samuel without fear.

The magic technique that could make the body as strong as soil was one of the moves of the Pedon Land. Every resident there is required to at least master the technique.

Otherwise you will be killed.

That's what Samuel remembered when the professor taught about other lands.

"It's useless for you to know, you'll die soon. Please meet your Maker!" the student shouted and started to attack Samuel.

Shyut!

Shuut!

Bugh!

Dragh!

Samuel sighed. He hadn't thought that his agility would come in handy during the slime hunt. He was able to dodge the attack.

But Samuel couldn't dodge forever. He was not a fighter who could constantly dodge or attack with a sword or other sharp tool.

He was only a wizard with fire magic.

"Die, lowly boy!" the student shouted, slashing at Samuel, who didn't dodge.

Bughh!

Kkrrak!
