[Kickstarting evolution process…, please wait!]
[Process kickstarted!]
The next moment after these lines of words appeared, mystical golden lights burst out of Eliot’s current mushroom-shaped body, blocking out all the thick blood and flesh surrounding him at this moment.
Another magical process started.
Eliot experienced a magical feeling that he had never experienced all his life before now. For a moment, he felt like his being was being remolded.
He felt like a god-like architect or tailor with his needle and thread was working on him at this moment, sewing a more perfect version of him into existence and this process only lasted a few seconds.
After what felt like just 5 seconds, it was done.
All the golden mystical lights disappeared like they were never there.
What followed first was the system lines of words again.
[Congratulations Virgin Eliot!]
[You have made use of innate bloodline ability: Infinite Evolution!]
[You have unlocked a new Evolution Form: Salmon Fish]
[Evolution Forms Available: Salmon Anemia- Virus; Salmon Fish]
[Do you want to change forms?]
“Yes”. Eliot answered instinctively on seeing the option.
BZZZ!
His perception was briefly locked out as another magical process seemed to occur, then the next moment Eliot’s perception recovered to a crazy change.
His perception of life and existence changed entirely at this moment.
First, he no longer felt like he was compressed inside an ocean of blood and thick flesh, he felt free for the first time.
He could feel the water caressing against his fins gently as it flowed, the feeling of his gills taking in liquified oxygen made him feel alive.
If there was a mirror at this moment, Eliot would have been able to see his current form better which was a tiny young Salmon Fish.
Despite the lack of a mirror, he was not dumb.
The system clues and everything already told him what he was at this moment and he felt thrilled by the thought of it.
“I’m a fish!”
He tried to exclaim only for bubbles to come out of his mouth.
He didn’t seem to care though. “I’m a fish!”
“A fish…, damn man!”
“A mother*cking fish!”
In his ecstasy, the system lit up with words again.

Eliot was attracted first by the new skills and his increased attributes; he was thrilled as he instantly felt like his life just became a whole lot safer.
‘Damn, what an increase!’
‘With a speed of 4.4, can anything catch me?’
“Hehe…,” He chuckled, feeling full of himself in this moment which like usual only resulted in bubbles floating up.
Eliot was also thrilled at the rewards that he got for completing the missions but at this moment, he didn’t pay much attention to those.
This was because he just discovered something after his initial excitement died down, he just detected something new residing in his brain.
Eliot just discovered new knowledge residing in his head.
‘Oncorhynchus tshawytscha’.
Before today, Eliot had no idea what this name was and its meaning but just now, this knowledge appeared in his head and he knew what it meant.
‘This is the botanical name of the Chinook Salmon!’
‘Which should be me at this moment…’ He was thrilled.
‘The Chinook Salmon is the largest and most valuable species of Pacific Salmon’. Eliot was flabbergasted at this new knowledge but he took something from it. ‘This means I’m probably currently in some ocean of sort’.
‘The Chinook’s common name is derived from the Chinookan people’.
‘Other vernacular names for the species include King Salmon, Quinnat Salmon, Tsumen, Spring Salmon, Chrome Hog, Blackmouth, and Tyee Salmon’.
At this moment, Eliot felt like a sage.
A Salmon sage.
‘Damn, what the heck is this?!’
‘Professor Gagam would be impressed, damn, is this sorcery?’
That was not all, he felt like a new kid that just got a new toy at this moment and he was occupied exploring all the facets of his newest toy.
‘The domain of Chinook Salmon is Eukaryota, it’s kingdom Animalia, it’s phylum Chordata, it’s class Actinopterygii, it’s order…, damn, I can go on and on!’
“This is magic!” He exclaimed only for bubbles to come out again.
“Man, if this is not a dream, this is heaven!”
Though he still found it hard to believe, Eliot knew where this new knowledge came from and it was what made him feel like it was sorcery even more.
He could remember during the critical moment when his life was threatened and the pressure pushed him to retaliate by replicating his viral body.
For any part of the Salmon fish that he killed, most times than not, an equivalent knowledge of that part surged into his brain.
At that moment, he didn’t understand but now he did.
His eyes widened at the weight of this realization.
‘Gosh…!’ He was short of words.
‘A mechanism that can allow me to learn information about any organism of my liking just by cannibalizing on it without reading…, this is f*cking godly!’
‘Not just that, infinite evolution…, it’s real!’ He felt emotional at this moment.
Infinite evolution…, this was Professor Gagam’s greatest obsession.
‘So, it was possible Afterall!’ Eliot felt a rush of complicated feelings.
‘Is Professor Gagam still alive?’
‘Did he come to this world with me?’
‘I wonder what he would feel to know his greatest research bore fruit and actually became reality, hehe…, I bet he’d drown in ecstasy’.
He felt excited but just like before, he still had a lot of unanswered questions that he was yet to get answers to.
‘Where is this?’
‘Is this still Earth or like the system said, Utopia?’
‘Where is Professor Gagam?’
‘Did his experiment send me to this world?’
‘This Evolutionist bloodline, is it proof of the Professor’s success?’
So many questions were on his mind.
In the end, he came to a conclusion. ‘I can’t get my answers now’.
‘That does not matter now though. With this my innate ability, I now have the ability to evolve infinitely into any organism and being that I want’.
‘I will make that my goal’.
‘Let’s see, by the time I evolve 10 times, 100 times, a thousand times…,’ He grinned. ‘I bet I’ll get the answers to all my questions by then’.
He felt hyped. ‘Bring it on baby!’
Eliot took his time to take in all the excitement of this moment. From getting his first kill in this strange new world that he found himself, to evolving from a virus into a Salmon, to discovering his improved attributes, to confirming infinite evolution and the incredible source of knowledge, everything was a lot for him to take in at once.It took time for all the dopamine induced and the excitement of the moment to die down, this was when he finally became grounded in reality again. And, this was when he noticed some things that he ignored previously.‘Dash…, hmmm, that’s a skill fitting for a fish’.‘Bite…, nice, that sounds badass’.‘Devour…, that definitely sounds like the ability of a boss character, nice’.‘Camouflage…, uhhh, it’s giving me spy vibes, OP?’‘But…,’ He paused in his thoughts. ‘Mate…, what is that?’His expression in his new fish form became unnatural. ‘Umm…, how is that a skill? Damn, this support system must have been created by a pervert!’‘First, it calls me
“T-this…” He just kept stammering as his eyes widened in shock.“This…, is my family?!”Before Eliot at this moment, about 60 Chinook Salmon fish swam ahead of him as they seemed to follow a fish that led at the very front.“Brother! Come! The Chief is leaving!” The fish repeated.Still stunned but trying to adapt, Eliot finally focused on this fish.It was a purple Chinook Salmon just like him. Eliot could barely tell the difference between these Chinook fishes at this moment since a lot of them had purple color, with other colors varying among the others. They all looked similar to him but this guy was different. He was a tiny Chinook Salmon fish like him but calling him brother built an instinctive closeness between them.Eliot was amazed. ‘Is this one of the evolutionary traits of a Salmon?’‘They probably call everyone in their school brother’.‘It’s probably what keeps them cohesive as a school’.“Brother! Bonkers! The Chief is leaving!” The now impatient fish repeated. This tim
Eliot watched everything transpire. They more they ventured into this water and the calmer it became, the more suspicious he became which made him observe his surroundings more carefully. He was the first to notice the presence of the predator. He noticed the hole in the seabed that was covered with green leaves first and he instantly became suspicious but before he could react, he saw movement.“HISSS…!”The shrill hiss revealed its identity.Chief was at the front of this school but like a veteran kung fu master, he reacted first than any of the other Salmon as he dodged and swam away instantly. He swam away before he screamed for the others to run.The others were not so fast like him.CRUNCH!One bite was all it took for it’s venom to be injected and instantly that brother became paralyzed, with one gulp this snake swallowed its prey.Despite swallowing one Salmon already, its body size showed no change. Its predatory eyes darted about in search of the next prey.Bam!It’s speed a
Bzzz!Seeing the purple liquid come out and solidify to form the thick shield, instantly all 5 aggressive Piranhas became even more restless and aroused. These 5 Piranhas became more aggressive as they saw the shield.“Kill!” “Kill!” Kill!”They roared aggressively as a red mist suddenly surrounded them. Before they could do anything, the now incensed sea snake already started its counterattack as its long body rose up above the Piranhas. It opened its mouth the next moment, exposing its deadly fangs.“Magic Gland: Venom Spray!”With its mouth opened and its teeth exposed, the sea snake attacked the next moment as more of that dark purplish liquid came out this time from its teeth as it sprayed out like water coming out of a shower. This thick liquid touched the body of the 5 Piranhas and their skin sizzled as it started corroding. The reaction of the Piranhas? They became even more angry and aggressive.“Kill!” “Kill!” “Kill!”They had to have some form of confidence to dare attack t
“…”“…”“…..”The battlefield became quiet.Yet, 2 Salmon Fish refused to come out of their hole.Inside that hole, they stayed as silent as a mouse in the presence of a cat, their gills working on overdrive as they kept on breathing heavily.Brother? This guy was traumatized by this encounter.Eliot? He was too shocked to move.‘Holy f*cking sh*t!’‘What in the name of all f*cking midgets did I just see?!’ He felt like he was going crazy, he fought had to prevent himself from screaming in disbelief.‘A sea snake that is able to control it’s venom to form a shield?’‘Damn…, that’s straight out of an anime!’‘I always knew Piranhas are some aggressive mother*ckers, but bruh…, all those red mists, those Spartan Rage sh*t, that’s crazy man!’‘Those guys are no longer Piranhas; those guys are f*cking Chihuahuas!’‘Then, that last boss that seemed straight out of a 90s action movie’.‘Damn, that Electric Eel was completely electric man!’‘That blue electric blast, I almost felt like it wou

WHOOSH!“…”“…”“…..!”For a second, Eliot just floated in the water, stunned as he watched the silhouette of the gradually vanishing chief. He gritted his teeth in anger. ‘That f*cker!’‘That f*cker…, he’s always the first to run!’Chief didn’t even look back to see who shouted the danger warning nor did he even care to see the danger, he simply bolted away. And instantly, the fish school scattered in panic.Despite their panic though, Eliot was able to notice something immediately as every single one of the Salmon Fish still tried to swim in chief’s direction. That was all Eliot needed to heave a sigh of relief.“Brother, follow them!”“…” Brother was stunned. One moment, he was swimming with big bro Eliot, calmly hunting for food and the next moment he saw a brother being killed, then the Giant Spider, then big bro Eliot shouting danger then all his brothers scattering and swimming in panic.Everything was too much for this Salmon to process at once.He froze from confusion but Eli
