Absolute Cut

Lennard looked at William in disbelief. He thought that William's unconscious body must have flown away by now. So he hoped to be free to fight Nicolas.

He wanted to devote everything he had left to this battle, but now a problem arose. William was just an official mage. He wouldn't survive the bombardment of third-rank spells. So he wouldn't be able to fight at full strength because he thought he had to protect him.

Furthermore, Nicolas' crazy laughter confirmed this. He was laughing because he couldn't understand what a weak ant-like William was doing.

William shook his head. "I'm disappointed, Mr. Lennard."

Lennard frowned but said nothing. William was right, he had warned them before.

"I will take this sword and never give it to you again. You do not deserve this sword." William's eyebrows were bent to the ground. It was an expression of great pity.
