“What is it, Amaris. Why did you come here so early in the morning. Shouldn’t you be busy with the challenge I’ve given you?”

Mr. Weldien asked a quite surprising question for Amaris, while sipping his strong black coffee. Amaris, who took a piece of toast then smeared it with peanut butter, cleared her throat perfectly.

“I came to give a joke to Grandpa. I think Grandpa would love to hear this joke.”

“Joke?” asked Mr. Weldien.

“Yes, the joke that Elissa’s husband had made, and I had no idea that the jobless useless man had such a great sense of humour.”

“What’s the joke?” Mr. Weldien asked again.

Amaris smiled wryly, then she looked at her grandfather who had been silent and watched her.

“A funny joke, grandpa. You know, last night I brought Luke to Elissa’s house. We gave the best offer by giving Elissa a capital of five hundred million dollars without needing to be returned, and with that capital Elissa can easily get fifteen percent of the profit like what Grandpa has given the challenge. It’s just that grandpa’s prettiest granddaughter is really an idiot. Elissa flatly refused the offer I had given, even having offended Luke. And the most ridiculous thing is, that selfless unemployed man said arrogantly that he would be able to give his wife two billion dollars in capital, and do you know when would he give that capital? Amaris immediately laughed with some members of the Weldien family who happened to be having breakfast there. Meanwhile Mr. Weldien chose to remain silent, putting down the coffee he had just sipped.

“Tomorrow?” he asked, confirming what Amaris said.

“Yes, Grandpa. Tomorrow that selfless unemployed man will show his two billion dollars in front of me, Luke and Uncle as well as Aunt. Does Grandpa want to see it too?”

“Looks like we have to capture the moment, Amaris. You should call a lot of reporters, show the world that the Weldiens have a useless son-in-law like Jonathan. So that Jonathan would understand and leave the Weldien family immediately.”

“Grandpa, don’t worry, without that, maybe the fate of that useless unemployment man won’t last long. And his marriage relationship with Elissa would end soon. Why? Because we have made a bet. “That’s right, I have found a job, and I got paid on the same day. Since now I have enough money, then buy whatever you want, Elissa. You can buy clothes, bags, jewellery, shoes. Everything like what you had as a member of the Weldien family.”

“Is it true?” Elissa seemed happy to hear Jonathan’s words. However, Elissa’s face turned somber again.

“I want to buy things in this boutique, Miss.”

The boutique employee immediately looked Jonathan up and down. When she saw Jonathan’s shabby appearance, and all the items Jonathan wore were cheap, the employee immediately smiled cynically.

“Do you have enough money to buy things here, Sir? All the goods here are of the highest quality, the prices are very high. My advice is ... if you really can’t, or don’t know, then leave immediately before you are kicked out by the employees inside for disturbing the view and trashing this expensive boutique, sir.”

Jonathan smiled again, of course he always got this kind of treatment. But now Jonathan will not hesitate to shut up anyone who continued to insult him.

“I want to subscribe to VVIP in this boutique, this is my card. Take whatever you want, miss.”

The employee was very shocked, she was stunned to see Jonathan’s gold card. Swallowing hard, the employee immediately stepped back.

“Wait a minute, sir. Please come inside to process your customer card.”

“No need. Do you see that beautiful woman in the boutique? She is my wife, give this boutique customer card in my wife’s name, order, and select all the most expensive and best items in this boutique for her. After saying that, Jonathan immediately left. He chose to wait for Elissa at the opposite cafe, smiling mockingly at the employee. The employee immediately lowered her head, her face was turned bright red because of embarrassment.
