Chapter One Hundred and Thirty Nine - Investments

The next day, Jason arrived early at the Elysian Syndicate to check the security footage.

“Good morning, Mr. Grey,” the guard said.

“Good morning, Richard. I need your help with something,” Jason said.

“What is it, sir?”

“I need to have a look at the CCTV camera footage from yesterday, around noon.”

Richard nodded. "Okay, sir,” he said.

He led Jason to the room where the footage was kept and showed him the footage from the day before.

Jason waited for the blonde woman to walk in, and his head jerked up when he finally saw her.

“Stop there,” he said.

Richard paused the footage at the point where the blonde woman walked in. She was wearing a scarf and was about to put on sunglasses. The video was paused right at the point before she put on the sunglasses; she had already raised them to her face but hadn’t put them on yet.
