Damien's eyes shone with excitement and widened slightly in surprise as he heard Jason’s terms. He chuckled, mocking, “You’re really aiming big Thrifty Jay, you think you’re going to end up with my car? " I’m game.” Damien smirked

Jason smiled and said, "Perfect." The onlookers were all convinced that Jason was crazy or too cocky for his own good. How could anything a pauper like Jason bring an artwork more valuable than Damien’s, a show-off who took every opportunity to brag and let it be known that he was the wealthiest in the room?

Internally, Jason was satisfied; a subtle smirk played on his lips, knowing exactly how things would play out. He had specifically told Timothy to get the most valuable artwork by Dorian Theodorus, a Greek sculptor who was very skilled but not known by many. Not only because of the value but also because he remembered that Renee was a lover of Greek sculptors and Greece in general.
