Jack smiled but he didn't say anything. The shareholders felt uneasy. It was like Jack knew something he wasn't telling them.

"If anyone tries to move closer or stop me, I'll have you thrown out by the bodyguards," He warned ferociously.

The staff didn't dare act so rashly anymore. Mr Spencer quickly whispered to the other shareholders that he had called Jed.

But the shareholders felt he didn't do the right thing and would only make the matters worse. Although Jed was capable, he was Jack's half-brother and they would surely clash.

Jed was so young. Would he be able to withstand Jack?

"While my father is absent, I will be in charge," Jack declared, seemingly unaware of the exchange between the shareholders.

"Young master," One of the shareholders immediately contended. "You still haven't told us why the chairman is absent. You can't sit there or take charge without the chairman's consent."
