Fast Forward 1
Anna had begun to realize her son was growing at a faster pace as compared to children his age. He also seem quite intelligent to her and quite adapt in the skill of mana circulation.
Anna knew it was only a matter of time until she found out the reason for her son’s fast growth because she was now scared inwardly. Drew’s gazes were becoming too intense now, and Anna felt like Drew was looking right into her soul making her always think twice before she acts when she is with Drew.
“God please help me take care of this child because he is more of demon than I was during my childhood. I just hope he does not inherit the bad side of me because it can be really bad.” Anna prayed in her heart as she felt Drew gawking at her.
But Anna did not know Drew was studying her and trying to be like her. Drew had been with Anna for the past 6 months. And during those 6 months he had grown to rely on Anna like how a baby cub would rely on its mother for safety.
Drew had also learned a bit about this world and how it functioned as a whole.
This world was bigger than Jupiter 10x and the inhabitants here have not been able to explore every part of the world.

Magic is everything here and without it you will be treated as trash all your life until you get a breakthrough. This breakthrough grants the person the ability to level up.

This was all the information I was able to gather by listening to both Anna and Raven mumblings as they went on with their daily life. The third piece of information was quite difficult to believe at first but as I watch her during this first 6 months of my new life, I had to accept it. She could run faster than lightning now and did not even make noise when breaking sound barriers.
Also, Drew had watch her fight a monster before and according to what Raven was saving, that monster was close to gaining sentience and also close to ranking up into the demi-gold rankings.
It was a normal day like every day until I heard an earth-shaking roar which frightened me to the core.
“ROOOAAAARRRRRR.”
“ROOOAAAARRRRRR.”
“ROOOAAAARRRRRR.”
The roar ranged 3 times in my ears, making me piss all over myself. I remember talking about being self-reliant and shit along those lines but right now I forgot all about those thoughts because I was about to get fucked really hard.
“I needed my mummy now.” I mumbled in an innocent childish way and all I got was a laugh from Anna and some words which calmed me down greatly.
“Do not worry my dear son, mummy would protect you with all her strength and besides this lion is just an A-rank monster with an Earth manipulation ability. I can beat it with my eyes close.” Anna opened her eyes as she chuckled with thought of Drew being scared by that lion whiles she was around.
Anna stared at the lion for a few seconds and charged right at it. She had decided not to use her swords because she felt it was unnecessary. The lighting speed charge ended with a dropkick which cost the lion two of its canine teeth. But Anna was not done after performing the dropkick.
She managed to land on her hands whiles she was in mid-air and coated her left leg with the earth around her. She sent the lion flying with just a kick of her leg.
“Oh, it seems the pussy cat is a pussy after all.” Anna laughed at the flying lion and dashed right at her. When Anna managed to get behind the lion in mid-air, she sent a fist at the back of its head.
“POW.” Was the sound that registered in the ears of Drew. Drew now could not see his mother. So, he only followed the sounds they made which was even now proven to become even difficult.
The lion at this moment felt its life was in danger so it decided to do what every living organism would do when they felt their end was near and that was going + ultra.
“YEEAAAHHHHH.”
The lion stood up again but this time it had coated itself with a thick miasma and was using that miasma to heal its wounds. Anna had been unforgiving in her assaults and right now she was looking at the lion in amusement.
Anna knew she could still beat the lion even if it coated itself with diamonds because she knew her fists made dents appear on the surface of the hardest mineral on this planet. So, a small miasma and earth fortification would not save the lion.
“DREW MY BABY BOY IT SEEMS WE WILL BE HAVING LION MEAT THIS DINNER. OH, STUPID ME, I FORGOT YOU DO NOT HAVE STRONG TEETH LIKE MUM.” Anna shouted in an affectionate tone because she was a bit far away from Drew but that did not mean she was not looking at him.
This time the lion charged at Anna but she just side stepped it and gave the lion a hard knock on its head.
“ROOOOAAAARRRR.”
Was the only sound the lion could make as it felt its skull separating gradually. The lion moved away from Anna after it received the knock and stared at Anna intensely.
“Oh dear, do not look at me like that. If you do so I might kill you without batting an eyelid.” Anna said in a sad voice. “Please try to take 3 of my punches.” Anna looked at the lion sadly as she voiced out her request.
As soon as she completed her speech Anna charged in again, this time it felt like the wind was supporting every movement. Clenching her fist with all her strength she punched the lion hard on its guts instantly killing it.
“And I thought this bad boy here could take 3 shots from me. How sad to have died before you broke through. How pitiful?” Anna paid her sincerest condolences to the lion and placed its death corpse in her storage space.
