Chapter 21 - The Chaos Must Go On

Meanwhile, in the real world, all the elders except Thomas hurried to stop the ravaging beast as their king challenged Leo.

Suddenly, a small bird-like creature landed on the ground in front of him from the air. The creature looked familiar before Thomas's eyes, but unfortunately, the little size got him confused.

"I recognize..." Thomas had not completed his words and the small bird slowly enlarged into a massive beast, having a sight to behold.

It was a mighty black dragon, as tall as the tower of a castle wall, thick as platinum, and its mighty and threatening appearance could only make one cower at his suffocating pressure.

A sneering roar erupted into the surrounding within mere seconds, and everyone froze, before turning their gaze to the source of the threatening roar, the dragon. It looked into the eyes of all the villagers, including the several clones of the Blackest Blue who also froze on their spot.

"Where is Leo?" Its voice penetrated the villagers' heads and they looked terrified to the stage of being dumbfounded.

"I'll burn you all to a crisp if you make me repeat myself!" Thick black smoke escaped from the nostrils of the dragon whose neck got tinted with red.

Seconds passed and the atmosphere remained as silent as a graveyard, even though there were up to a thousand people.

"You are all garbage!" He exclaimed in dejection once he realized the only terrified face of the crowd. Bel then turned his gaze to Thomas who looked indifferent to the other villagers.

"You..."

"Me?" Thomas subconsciously asked, although, it was vivid since the telepathy had suddenly cut off the other villagers with only him still on the menu, "I... I don't know!"

"If you lie to me, I promise you and the thing you're holding in your arms will perish to my flames."

Thomas looked dumbfounded, and at the same time, exhausted. Why was the finger pointing at him, with his life and that of his son on the line, "I apologize... The, the king took him away..."

"To the dungeon?" Bel intensionally blew hot flames, that fortunate, only had a small range.

"No... The king’s ability is portal and world creation, your... Leo was transported by the king."

"How can I meet them?"

Thomas suddenly looked uneasy, especially after seeing the tightened expression of the dragon, "Onl-only the king... Can decide that."

"When will they return?" Bel's face tightened the more he listened to the unneeded excuse from Thomas.

"Also.. Only the king can decide that."

Bel looked frustrated and breathed a cone of blue and misty air that easily submerged the villagers, including the Blackest Blue who crumbled into a pile of red dust as soon as the air made contact with his body.

Only a minute later, the scene revealed the iced blue bodies that froze on the spot, only excluding Thomas and his baby.

Bel's voice immediately attacked the head of all the frozen villagers, "The slightest movement, and you will break in dust."

It was, unfortunately, too late for some of the villagers, as their bodies fell limp to the ground before shattering into dust.

"And as for you, Thomas, inform me when Leo returns, then and only then before you villagers will be free!"

Bel transformed into a smaller version of his massive appearance and did not hesitate to blaze the sky.

~~~
Meanwhile, the dark abyss trembled and Leo was released by the jelly-like black hands. He looked exhausted even in his shadowy appearance and suddenly, a glittering golden monster appeared in front of him.
"Something is not right!" The king had lost focus and began to mumble, even ignoring the pacing creature that gradually got closer to him.
Suddenly, before the monster could pounce on the king, he immediately disappeared, leaving only Leo and his beast in the dark abyss.
"Damn to this man! I'm so bad at being a villain." He burst into sudden tears once he realized the scenario. He acted like an exhausted child who wanted to do nothing but be free from the slightest stress.
Leo fell plump to the ground and quickly went into slumber, while his transparent body slowly transformed into his natural appearance.
~~~

A portal appeared in the air and suddenly, the king flew out of it, safely landing on the ground beside Thomas.

"What is this?"

"My king, it was the dragon, it said once you're back with that man. I should call him before the villagers will be set free."

The king growled in displeasure and a portal appeared underneath him before he fell into the abyss.

The king looked pissed while staring at Leo who snored lightly.

"You'd be dead if not for that dragon." A portal appeared under Leo and he fell into it while the king followed after.

"I've brought..." The king was about to muster some words, but he paused after seeing a magnificent and massive dragon before his eyes.

'It's... It's true?'

"Yes, it's true!" A voice knocked his head and the king looked pale like he was going to fall unconscious at any minute.

Leo already stood beside the dragon, while Thomas suddenly got lost in the environment, only leaving the king, the thousands of frozen bodies, and the two villains.

"You look like you want to say something?" The dragon asked and the king remained silent, vividly due to fear of the mighty beast.

"Answer him?" Leo's shadowy figure suddenly spoke out and the king turned to him with a frown.

The frozen expression of the king wrinkled, and he just couldn't stop himself from retaliating, "Oh! You can suddenly speak because your savior is here?"

The Blackest Blue suddenly appeared in front of Leo, and it gave a sneer that had, however, failed the scare the king.

Bel had a wicked grin while he felt amazed at the king’s bravery, he transformed into a small dragon and flew into the sky, up to a level where he became almost invisible within the clouds, "I think the both of you should settle your differences with a deathly spar, it will be pleasing to watch in this view!"

Leo and the king threw death glares at each other, and their killing intent vastly grew for each other.

The king was the first to speak, "We both have two abilities, one is fatal, and the other isn't. We should not use our fatal abilities?"

"Deal! But I promise you'll pay for this."
