Morris' eyes fluttered open, his mind foggy and disoriented. He tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through his head, forcing him back onto the pillow. As he struggled to regain his bearings, a figure entered the room, its presence commanding attention.

"Who are you?" Morris demanded, his voice weak but laced with suspicion.
