Chapter 86

Bruce retired for the day and got into his car. He quickly zoomed off as his mind kept racing about the cases at hand and the Captain's order. He hadn't put a call across to the judge for he also needed a search warrant, but Bruce wanted to meet with Lecter first over the entire thing.

He drove into the city which welcomed him with open arms. The night was cool, and it seemed like winter would come soon. That was Bruce's favorite time of the year.

Bruce took out his phone and dialed Lecter's number. But a text popped up and he hung up to read the text.

"We're watching you," it said. Bruce frowned and checked the number. It was an unknown sender

"What the hell..." Bruce muttered, but suddenly, car crashed into him.

Bruce's car somersaulted several times before it crashed on the streets. People screamed while they saw the car that had hit Bruce drive away. Bruce groaned, and the last thing he remembered were people coming to his aid.
