Leon sat in his tech shop, the lights dimmed low, and the soft hum of machines filled the air. His hands moved deftly over a circuit board, but his mind was elsewhere. The large screen on the wall flickered, and a notification appeared. "New Task: Partner with the enemies of Sofia Winter, Victor Aldridge, and the Winter family to dismantle their power." Leon leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing at the screen.

"So that’s how we play it," Leon whispered to himself. His hand hovered over the keyboard, typing swiftly as he began pulling files. Names and connections linked together on the screen, forming a spider web of alliances and rivalries.

The system spoke softly. "The Winters and Aldridges have crossed many. Their enemies wait in the shadows, eager for a chance. Use this to your advantage."

Leon smirked. "I thought you’d say that. Let’s see who hates them the most."

He picked up his phone and dialed a number he hadn’t used in years. After a few rings, a voice answered. "Leon, I was wondering when I’d hear from you."

"Ethan," Leon replied, his voice calm but firm. "I need you to dig deep. I want a list of every person who’s ever had a grudge against the Winters and Aldridges. Leave no stone unturned."

There was a pause on the other end. "That’s a long list, Leon. Those families have been ruining lives for decades."

"Good," Leon said coldly. "Send me the top five. I want the ones with nothing left to lose."

Ethan chuckled. "You’ve changed. I’ll have the information within 24 hours."

"I’ll expect it sooner," Leon replied before ending the call. He leaned back and exhaled. His eyes flickered back to the screen, the names flashing like ghosts from his past. over the years as a billionaire Leon has many private investigator working for him. A reason known only by the system. Getting them wasn't hard. most of them are human robots including Ethan. Only few are his good old friends.

The next evening, Leon’s phone rang. He answered immediately.

"Leon, I’ve got what you asked for," Ethan said. "Sending the files now. But be careful. These aren’t people who play by the rules."

"Neither am I," Leon replied. "Thanks, Ethan."

The files popped onto his screen one by one. Five names. Five lives torn apart by the Winters and Aldridges. Leon skimmed the list, his eyes stopping at the first name.

Marcus Grey – Once a wealthy businessman, Marcus lost everything after the Winters framed him for fraud. Now, he ran an underground network, dealing with secrets and blackmail.

Leon’s lips curled into a smile. "Perfect."

Without hesitation, he grabbed his jacket and stepped out. His sleek black car was parked by the curb. Leon slipped inside and tapped the steering wheel lightly.

"System, guide me to Marcus Grey."

The car roared to life and smoothly pulled away from the tech shop. Leon's thoughts drifted to Clara for a moment, wondering how she was. But first, he had unfinished business.

Marcus Grey's hideout was in an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town. Leon stepped out, adjusting his coat. The building looked worn down, the kind of place people avoided after dark. Leon approached the door and knocked twice.

A small panel slid open, revealing a pair of sharp eyes. "Who are you?"

"Tell Marcus, Leon's here. I want to see him''.

The panel snapped shut. Leon waited patiently until the door creaked open. Inside, Marcus Grey sat behind a large wooden desk, papers scattered everywhere. He looked up, surprise flashing across his face.

"The famous but secret Leon carter? what brings you to my home abode".

"you know me already, that makes my journey easier" Leon said, stepping forward. "I need your help, Marcus Grey. And in return, I’ll give you what you’ve wanted for years. A chance to bring down the Winters."

Marcus leaned back, his eyes narrowing, he let out a short-lived laughter. seeing Leon's serious expression, be became serious. "I’m listening."

Leon sat across from him, resting his hands on the desk. "I’m putting together a team. I want the Winters and Victor Aldridge to fall. I know you have contacts. I need to know everything they’ve done and everyone they’ve wronged."

Marcus’ eyes darkened. "You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this. But why now?"

Leon’s gaze hardened. "Because they took everything from me too. It’s time they paid."

Marcus smiled slowly. "I’m in. When do we start?"

"Tonight," Leon said. "I need you to call in every favor. I’ll handle the rest."

Later that night, Leon sat alone in his car, watching the lights flicker in the city. His phone vibrated. It was Clara. For a moment, he hesitated. Then he answered.

"Leon?" Clara's soft voice came through. "I just... wanted to say thank you for earlier."

Leon’s expression softened. "Are you alright?"

"I am now," she replied. "But I feel like I owe you an explanation. Can you come by?"

'' You mean right now." Leon checked his digital clock.

'' if it's okay by you". she responded at the other end.

"I’m on my way," Leon said, starting the car.

Clara’s house was small but charming. The porch light flickered as Leon approached. When she opened the door, she looked surprised but happy to see him.

"You really came," Clara said softly.

"I said I would," Leon replied. "May I come in?"

Clara stepped aside, allowing him to enter. The house smelled of coffee and fresh pastries. Everything was neat, and a small lamp cast a warm glow over the living room.

Leon’s eyes wandered to a small plus sized bed by the wall. Vennessa lay there, tucked under a soft blanket.

Leon looked at Clara, his eyes questioning. "it hasn't been easy taking care of your kid alone, right?"

Clara’s eyes dropped to the floor. "Yes. She’s just five."

Leon smiled gently. "She’s beautiful."

Clara looked nervous. "I didn’t want you to find out like this."

Leon shook his head. "It doesn’t change anything. I’m still here."

Clara’s eyes softened. "Thank you, Leon."

As they sat down, Leon's mind drifted to the battle ahead. He would protect Clara and Vennessa, but he would also make sure that those who wronged him would face justice.

The Winters estate hall shone like a jewel under the night sky. The sprawling mansion stood tall, its grand architecture was a testament to power and wealth. Tonight, the grand ballroom was alive with music, laughter, and the clinking of crystal glasses. The room dazzled with golden chandeliers, polished marble floors, and guests draped in expensive designer clothing. Everywhere Leon Carter turned, there was a reminder that he didn’t belong there. Standing near a corner, Leon adjusted his simple black suit as he behaved like a gentleman. The suit was clean and neat, but it lacked the designer labels that everyone else wore to the ballroom. He felt their eyes on him, the whispers loud enough to cause a deadly sting. "Who is that?" A well dressed woman asked, her voice carrying just enough to ensure Leon heard. She did that to get his attention. "Sophia's husband," Another answered with a smirk. "The nobody she married on a whim. How pathetic it looks." The first woman laughed

The rain poured down from the dark sky, soaking Leon Carter as he walked through the empty streets. His clothes were drenched, and the cold water clung to his skin, but it didn’t bother him. His mind was too busy replaying the words that had cut him deep earlier that day. Every insult, every sneer, every look of pity. It all echoed in his head like a broken record. He stopped at a small park and sat on a wooden bench. The dim streetlights barely lit the area, casting long shadows around him. He buried his face in his hands, feeling the weight of everything pressing down on him. “Is this it?” he muttered to himself, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain. “Is this all I’ll ever be?” Just then, a soft chime broke through the silence. Leon frowned and pulled out his phone. The screen lit up, showing a strange message: "System Activation: Life Advancement System Online. Do you want to change your fate? Y/N" Leon stared at it, confused. “What is this?” he whispered. “

It was no ordinary shop. it brimmed with futuristic designs, high-tech gadgets, and the latest must haves for tech enthusiasts. His employees moved with purpose, attending to curious customers who wandered into the sleek, modern space. Leon kept a low profile, blending into the background as the owner. He had no intention of drawing attention to himself. Not yet. The chime of the door startled him from his thoughts. He looked up, his chest tightening when he recognized the two figures who stepped inside. Sophia, his ex-wife, and Ethan, the man who had been the bane of his existence. Sophia’s heels clicked against the polished floor as she entered, her eyes scanning the store with interest. “Wow,” she said, glancing around. “This place is stunning. It’s so... trendy. It was early morning when Leon entered his store. The gadget shop was thriving, buzzing with activity as the staff prepared for the day’s customers. Leon walked in quietly, his calm demeanor masking the storm within him. He had barely settled in his office when a knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. “Come in,” he said firmly. The door creaked open, and the security guard from the previous day stepped inside. His face was pale, and his hands were clenched nervously at his sides. “Sir,” the guard began, his voice shaky. “I… I owe you an apology. I didn’t know you were the owner. If I had… I…” the guard didn't know he was the owner of the tech house not until he was ordeeiny the manager to go apologize to him, Else he would be fired. Leon spent the next few days trying to push thoughts of the stubborn girl out of his mind. No matter how much he focused on other tasks, her face and sharp words kept popping up. “Forget it,” Leon muttered to himself one morning, getting ready to head out. “I have bigger things to deal with.” The system tasks had kept him busy, but today he wanted a break. He grabbed his jacket, checked his phone, and decided to treat himself to a good meal. The weather had cleared up, and the thought of eating at a luxurious restaurant seemed like a nice distraction. Leon arrived at La Belle Royale, one of the most upscale restaurants in the city. Its golden lights and marble entrance made it look like a palace. People in elegant suits and dresses walked in and out, chatting and laughing. Leon stepped inside, his calm confidence setting him apart from the crowd. The rain had stopped by the time Leon arrived at La Belle Royale. The streetlights reflected off the wet pavement, and the restaurant glowed softly against the darkening sky. Leon’s footsteps echoed faintly as he crossed the sidewalk, stopping briefly to glance inside through the glass windows. The place was just as busy as always , tables full, waiters moving quickly, and the sound of clinking glasses drifting into the night air. Leon stepped inside. The familiar warmth of the restaurant enveloped him, along with the rich smells of roasted chicken and freshly baked bread. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling cast a golden light over the dining area, and gentle music played in the background. His eyes scanned the room, but there was no sign of the Clara. His sharp gaze flicked from table to table, searching for her – brown hair, green eyes, the timid look she always wore when working. Nothing. Leon sat in his system room, the glow from the large monitors reflecting in his sharp, focused eyes. The room was quiet, except for the faint hum of machines working around him. Streams of data flowed across the screens like rivers of light. The air smelled faintly of metal and leather, a reminder of how much time he spent here. His chair creaked as he leaned back, staring at the main display. His fingers hovered over the controls, waiting. The ballroom incident still lingered in his mind – the men in suits, the strange tension, and Clara’s worried face. Something felt unfinished. Suddenly, the system chimed. Leon watched as the girl adjusted the hem of her dress, still flustered from the incident. Her cheeks were flushed, and she avoided eye contact with the crowd, as if hoping to disappear into the floor. "Relax," Leon said quietly, leaning against the wall beside her. "They'll forget about it in five minutes." She let out a nervous laugh. "I doubt that. I’m not exactly blending in here." Leon studied her for a moment. There was something different about her, something the others didn’t have. She didn’t fit in, but that wasn’t a bad thing. "I'm Leon, by the way." The girl hesitated before finally offering a small smile. "Clara." "Nice to meet you, Clara." Across the ballroom, Sophia was still watching. Her lips curled into a sly smirk as she whispered something to her mother. He glanced around. The area wasn’t busy—just a few late-night wanderers and the odd car cruising by. His coat shifted as he took a few steps toward the corner of the street. The place felt strange. Not in a dangerous way, but as if something was waiting just ahead, unseen. It was a slum. He rubbed the back of his neck, puzzled. Why did the system want him to make her fall for him? It didn’t make sense. He wasn’t here for romance or games. The mission was supposed to be
