Suddenly, a black SUV roared onto the scene, its tires screeching as it skidded to a halt. The back door swung open, and a woman in a sharp black suit stepped out. Her presence was commanding, her cold, sharp eyes scanning the group like a predator assessing prey.

"That’s her," Sean whispered through the earpiece. “Alexandra Lincoln, Cyberdyne’s COO (Chief Operating Officer), she's one of them."

Logan’s lips thinned. "Who the hell are those in the council members and who the hell are the shadow's operatives? Because I can't quite put my finger on it… anymore."

Alexandra Lincoln nodded at the courier, who handed over the briefcase. She popped it open briefly, revealing stacks of documents and a sleek hard drive glowing in the dark.

"It’s data," Sean muttered. "Looks like proprietary files, it's probably Blue Net’s classified algorithms or tech designs."

Logan’s eyes narrowed. "If that leaves this place, the entire blue Net Group is over. We’re done for if it gets out. We move on

Back in the main room, Nick was typing away furiously, his screen flashing lines of codes. Logan joined Sean by the table, watching as the tech worked his magic. “How’s it looking?” Logan asked. Nick didn’t look up and uttered; “They’ve got military-grade encryption on this thing. Whoever put this together doesn’t want it getting out. But…” He paused, his grin widening. “I’m better.” The screen suddenly lit up with a loaf of files, maps, and lists. Nick whistled low. “Oh, man. This isn’t just corporate information. This is… something else.” “What are we looking at?” Sean asked, moving closer. Nick pointed to a series of encrypted files and said, “These are blueprints of something unimaginable about the technology world. If this falls into the wrong hands, they could cripple entire networks, steal data, control infrastructure… It’s a game-changer.” Logan’s jaw tightened he was already worked up, he uttered; “And Cyberdyne was planning to sell this?” “Not just sell,” Nick s

The family of the Donald's after the confrontation Henry had with Richard, they decided to act like a family and not allow anyone just waltz into their lives, neither would they allow internal conflicts separate them. They were slowly rebuilding their trust in each other. Margaret had begun to cook dinners again, something she hadn’t done in months. She insisted on everyone sitting together at the table, even if the atmosphere was still heavy with unspoken words. Lucas was the first to break the silence one evening. “Do you think he’s really gone?” he asked, staring down at his plate. Margaret hesitated, glancing at Henry. “I hope so,” she said softly. Henry’s voice was firm. “He won’t come near you again. I made that absolutely clear.” Emma wasn’t convinced. “Richard doesn’t let things go, Dad.” Henry leaned forward, his gaze stern with conviction. “That’s why I’m staying here until I’m sure he’s out of your lives for good.” Emma nodded, but the tension in her shoul

Finally it was the long awaited midnight when Logan would meet the person behind the weird text messages and threats. He got to the meeting place alone as though he was alone. Meanwhile, someone was watching him intently, trying to see if truly he came alone. The meeting point is an abandoned warehouse, it is covered in darkness and silence, except for the faint rustling of the wind hitting against some withered metals. Logan stepped out of his car, his footsteps were quiet and cautious as he walked straight ahead, looking around for anything suspicious. He made his way toward the rendezvous but then his heart was beating like a war drum, each of those beats were a reminder of the risk he was about to take. He was putting on a black leather jacket, inside was a hidden weapon, of course. He dared not go to such a meeting with someone he clearly knew was dangerous without any weapons. Even though there was back up, he should be able to protect himself if something comes up.

The air outside of the warehouse was tense as Sean’s men stood round the stranger. His hands were tied behind his back, and his hood had been pulled back, revealing a sharp looking face with piercing eyes that seemed to be observing everyone and everything around him. "Secure him in the car," Sean ordered, his tone firm. "We’ll interrogate him back at the estate." But then something about the man's calm nature was making Logan suspicious of him. He stepped closer, his eyes narrowing as he studied the stranger. "You don’t look worried," Logan said coldly. The stranger smirked. "Worried? Oh, no. I’m impressed. You’ve done better than most. But this little victory of yours won’t last long, you see." Logan crossed his arms, his voice dropping. "What makes you think that?" The stranger leaned forward slightly, his voice low yet taunting; "Because while you’re wasting time trying to figure me out, my people are already two steps ahead of you." Before Logan could respond, the s

Watching intently from the window was Emma and Lucas who clung to her tightly. When Richard left that night, Emma felt a weight lift from her chest. “Is it really over this time?” she whispered. Margaret then placed a hand on her daughter’s shoulder, tears streaming down her face. “It is. I promise you, it is.” Henry entered the house, his face tired but triumphant. He knelt in front of Emma and Lucas. “You’re safe now. He’s not coming back, even if he does, he would never near you or hurt you guys in the future. I will protect you.” They believed him because they saw how fearless he was and how much he is ready to defend them They hugged him and he gave them assurances that he would never leave. Over the following months, the family worked to rebuild not just their home but their trust in one another. Richard charged towards Henry with the knife, but Henry sidestepped and swung the crowbar’s heavy metal and it hit Richard’s arm. That gesture made the knife clatter to the ground, but Richard didn’t stop. He tackled Henry and the two men crashed to the ground. They began to struggle, grunts and gasps breaking the silence of the night. Henry managed to free himself, grabbing the crowbar again. He swung again as Richard lunged towards him and this time the blow caught Richard across the jaw and sent him flying backwards. Richard’s fall ended on a crooked rock, his body hitting the ground with a thud. He lay still, his chest heaving gasping for a few moments before falling silent. Henry stood over him, his breath was also trying to beat normally, the crowbar slipping from his hand. In the distance, the sound of sirens reached his ears, growing louder with each passing second. It turns out their neighbour across the street had called the police. The flashing red and bl

After their little escapades at the warehouse in Amsterdam, Netherlands they decided to go back to the mansion. The drive back home was silent, but the tension in the car was serious, everyone was thinking really hard of what to do next. Logan stared out the window, his mind replaying the events of the night. When they arrived at the estate, Terrence poured himself a glass of scotch, watching his son from across the room. Logan was as still as ice, he wasn't saying anything and from the looks of it, he had a lot troubling him. “You’re too quiet, Logan, speak your mind.” Logan turned to his father, his eyes sharp,he uttered; “He’s not just working for the Council. He believes in them, dad… like this is personal. Did you see the way he talked about their plans? He wasn’t just following orders.” Terrence’s expression darkened, but he didn’t respond immediately. Logan stepped closer, his voice rising. “You’re holding something back. You know more about this Council than yo

As planned, the convoy moved through the city at dusk, its movements deliberate. Logan was disguised as a driver and was monitoring the surroundings from within one of the trucks. Sean and his men shadowed the operation from unmarked vehicles, their communication lines crackling with updates. "Movement at 10 o’clock," Sean’s voice came through the earpiece. Logan tensed, his eyes scanning the street. A dark figure appeared on a rooftop, trailing the convoy like a predator stalking its prey. "It’s him," Sean confirmed. "He is making his move." "Wait for my signal," Logan whispered, his pulse quickening as he had no idea how this would end. As the convoy entered a narrow underpass, the stranger struck. A flash grenade exploded ahead, forcing the vehicles to halt. The stranger leaped down, his movements precise as he approached the lead truck. Logan stepped out, his hands raised; "Looking for something?" The stranger paused, a smirk playing on his lips. "Brave of you to sh

As the night grew deeper, the table emptied, leaving only Logan, Alexander, Seraphina, and Udinov nursing their drinks. Patricia had gone to check on a renovation project upstairs, giving Logan a rare moment alone with his children. He leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. “You’re all too busy.” Seraphina smirked. “That’s rich, coming from you.” Logan chuckled. “I know. But when was the last time you all sat like this? No boardrooms, no deals, no strategies?” None of them answered and then Logan sighed. “You were raised to be strong, to command, to win. But power without family means nothing.” Alexander exhaled, rubbing his temples. “You’re getting sentimental here, Dad.” “Maybe,” Logan admitted and continued; “Or maybe I just don’t want you three to lose what I fought so hard to build, which was not the empire, but this.” Alexander tapped the rim of his glass. “And what exactly is this?” Logan looked at them, they were his legacy, his greatest creations, he utt

Tonight, however it was not about power or strategy, it was about family. Seraphina Bentley stepped out of her sleek car, a product of her company’s innovation. The estate’s lights illuminated the driveway, which was a path she had walked on since childhood. She didn’t need to knock, the doors swung open as if the house itself knew she had arrived. "About time," a familiar voice drawled. She smirked as Alexander leaned again

Two months after Dominion's fall, the three heirs met again, this time in Hong Kong, inside a high-rise that belonged to Bentley International Banking. Inside the boardroom, tension crackled like a coming storm. Seraphina stood at the head of the table, her gaze sharp. "Dominion wasn’t the end." Alexander leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "Go on." She tapped on the table, and a holographic display flickered to life filled with names, locations, financial transactions. • CHAPTER 258

The next day, Troy Reece and his son stood by the balcony, he didn't allow him to go back home the night before for fear he would get abducted. There were unspoken words between them For years, Troy had imagined this very moment when he would talk to his son in person again, he had rehearsed apologies in the quiet of his guilt, whispered confessions into thin air, but now, standing before his son, no words seemed enough. Ethan’s fists clenched at his sides, his expression unreadable. There was hesitation in his eyes, a war between the hurt of abandonment and the reluctant gratitude he couldn’t ignore. The weight of Troy’s absence had shaped him in ways no one would hope for, but then the knowledge that his father had, in his own way, protected him from Arthur’s threats, from a darkness Ethan never fully understood. "You left me," Ethan said at last, his voice quiet but razor-sharp. "For years, I told myself I’d never forgive you, I even hoped we would never meet." Troy’s th

Troy’s SUV screeched to a stop in front of the house. He was out before the engine died, his gun drawn. Ethan was right behind him; he was just a young man who hated violence, but he wanted to help them out, since his father did the same. Troy’s worst fear was confirmed when he saw the back door wide open. 'Oh no, no no…’ Troy thought. His blood went ice cold as he couldn't hear any sound, he walked gently into the house. “Amelia!” he shouted, but no one answered, there was silence. Then suddenly, there was a thud from upstairs. Troy moved fast, taking the stairs two at a time. Ethan followed, his heart pounding. The bedroom door was locked, but Troy kicked it open, his eyes widened. What he saw made him freeze, Amelia was there. A man in black had her, one arm wrapped tightly around her throat, the other holding a knife to her stomach. Her eyes widened when she saw Troy. “Troy… I am sorry,” she muttered. The man tightened his grip and uttered; “One more step, and s

  • CHAPTER 256

Troy and Ethan sat in the back of a black SUV, parked a block away from Arthur’s location. Ethan was scared out of his wits, his hands clenched. “I don’t like this,” Ethan muttered. Troy checked his watch, his expression unreadable. “Son, you don’t have to like it. You just have to follow my lead.” Ethan let out a sharp breath. “Arthur thinks I’m selling you out. What if he catches on that I am lying to him? He will kill me and you.” Troy finally turned to him, his gaze transfixed on him, he uttered; “Then we make sure he doesn’t walk away out of this place tonight.” Ethan swallowed hard, he had always seen Troy as the controlled, sophisticated filmmaker, but now? Now, he was looking at a man who had been in the shadows, in the dark before, a man who knew exactly how to handle threats or who used to give one in the past. Troy’s phone buzzed and it was a message from Author. ‘Warehouse. 30 minutes. Come alone.’ Ethan’s stomach twisted. “It’s a setup, Troy.” Troy smirked

Sensing the discomfort and unease in his voice, Troy straightened up and asked; “What’s wrong?” There was a long pause like he was trying to find the courage to speak, then Ethan finally spoke, his voice low and tensed. “It’s Arthur, he is coming for you.” Troy’s blood went cold. Ethan continued. “He wants me to set you up. If I don’t, he’s threatening Amelia.” There was silence. Then, Troy’s voice dropped to something dangerous; “Where is he?” Ethan exhaled shakily. “Troy, you don’t understand. Arthur isn’t just some con man. He’s dangerous. He has people. He won’t stop until…” Troy cut him off. “I don’t care who he has.” His voice was deadly calm. “No one threatens my family.” Ethan hesitated. “So… what do we do?” Troy leaned back, his mind racing. Then, for the first time, he spoke words Ethan never expected to hear. “We set him up firs
