Chapter 25

I stared out of the window barrier, my vision navigating through the pale blue sky spread across the horizon.

I waited patiently, a subtle feeling of joy beneath my heart as I anticipate dearly for it. The best part of my mornings.

My room was a perfect place for the daily routine. A wide smile broke on my face the moment the color blossomed, the orange visual of tint padding the east side of the sky as the big round ball of sun slowly came to view.

The grin on my lips stretched wider. My gaze glued to the sky, where the luminous celestial body of the sun was slowly shaping it full-size into view.

I just love seeing the sun rise, this has been me since I was a kid. I remember always doing it with my mother and my father both at my sides, up till I became eight years old and I lost my father.

I started watching it alone, my mother without any specific reason stopped watching it with me; I’d say because it reminded her of her husband.
