I'm Giving You Three Days

"Huh!"

A gasp spread amongst the crowd as Jordan and Zoey walked into the hall with Jordan holding Zoey's hands.

"Who's holding the bride's hands?"

"I don't know him, I've never seen him before!"

"He looked wretched; how could the Clarkson Family allow someone like him into the banquet!"

Voices came from all around as the guests looked at Jordan and Zoey walking up to the altar.

"Sorry, everyone, but this wedding has been canceled; my wife won't be marrying some rich punk!" Jordan suddenly stopped, turned around, and announced, facing the crowd.

Everyone froze hearing what Jordan said as they couldn't believe their ears.

Did that man just call Zoey his wife? Was he insane? Wasn't he afraid of what the Young Master of the Winston Family was going to do?

"Jordan, what do you think you're doing!" Grandmother panted as she rushed into the place.

"As I've said, everyone should please take their leave after taking the food and drinks provided; the wedding has been canceled." Jordan merely glanced at Mabel, before repeating what he had just said.

"Isn't that Zoey's husband who was sent to prison five years ago!"

"Yeah, he's the one. He seems to be out of prison already!"

"If I was Zoey, I would immediately divorce him on the spot. What can a criminal do?"

Voices came from all over, the guests discussing silently. What happened five years ago was not a secret so it was natural that they all knew about it.

"What the heck is happening here? Did someone just cancel my wedding ceremony?" An arrogant voice sounded just as the guests were discussing amongst themselves; a tall, lanky figure dressed in a suit walked into the hall with a frown on his face.

Immediately, everywhere fell silent, and all eyes turned to Jordan, who was still holding Zoey's hands.

"Who are you?" The figure growled walking towards Jordan and Zoey.

"Who do you think I am?" Jordan chuckled slightly.

"Are you blind, or are you dumb enough not to see that I'm holding her hands?" Jordan continued with a sneer.

"Huh?"

Gasps spread across the room at Jordan's savage comment and everyone turned to look at the figure.

Even Zoey's face changed as she gripped Jordan's hands even tighter.

"Care to explain what's happening here?" The figure growled, turning to Mabel, whose face was as white as a sheet of paper.

"There's no need to explain what's happening to you, are you freaking blind not to see what's happening, or were you deaf when I said that my wife is not getting married to you." Jordan sneered, interrupting Grandmother, who was about to talk.

"Ohh! So you're Jordan, Zoey's ex-husband. A worthless criminal who just came out of prison." The young man, Larry sneered, his mouth curling up into a snicker.

"I didn't know that you'd been released. Tell me what prison was like?" He taunted.

"I could send you there if you want to visit it so badly." Jordan shrugged, not bothered by Larry's taunting.

"You? Send me to prison?" Larry burst out into laughter, pointing at Jordan.

"Anyways, that's not my problem." He continued and then turned to Mabel.

"What the heck is that criminal doing here?"

"I..." Mabel stuttered, wanting to say something, but nothing came out of her mouth.

She couldn't tell Larry that she tried to get Jordan to leave, but he was not going to leave, which now resulted in this.

The Clarkson had already lost a lot of face, and admitting to the fact was going to make them lose more face.

"Are you freaking deaf, or how many times do you want me to repeat myself and tell you that my wife won't be getting married to you." Jordan broke the silence and walked toward Larry.

"How dare you!" Larry immediately burst out into a rage pointing at Jordan.

"The last person who had the guts to point their fingers at is Hades, it seems like you want to join him." Jordan threatened a powerful aura gushed out of his body surrounding Larry.

"How dare...."

"Shut up!" Jordan interrupted, glaring at Larry who was now shivering.

His whole body was shaking uncontrollably, and it was as if there was a huge mountain of pressure down on him, preventing him from moving.

Jordan glanced at him for a while, then shook his head and turned around, walking back towards his wife.

Immediately he left, the aura pressing down on Larry disappeared and the latter fell to the floor heavily.

"How dare you humiliate me, you criminal!" Larry yelled after he came back to his senses, pointing at Jordan.

"You fell 'cause you're weak and pathetic; don't blame others for your misfortune." Jordan shrugged as he said in a firm voice.

"How dare you!" Larry lost it all and then turned to face Mabel, who was watching from the side.

Everyone at the banquet was stunned as they didn't know what was going on. All they saw was Jordan staring at Larry then after a while, he turned around and left, and the latter fell to the floor.

It was quite obvious that he didn't do anything to the latter, yet he had claimed that he humiliated him.

"If you don't look for a way to dispose of him in three days and get her into my bed, then you can forget about your family having a footing in North Hampton." Larry threatened.

"I give you just three days to do it, if not, then you can get ready to follow your ancestors wherever they are right now." He continued and then turned around stomping out of the hall.

"What are you all waiting for? The main character of the event has left." Jordan spoke in a deep voice, bringing back everyone to their senses.

Immediately, all the guests stood up and left hurriedly, afraid they were going to cause a misunderstanding and be caught up in the fight between the two families.

There was no way the Clarkson family would be able to win, so it was better for them to leave and not cause a misunderstanding.
