“No! Don't hurt Sandy. She's innocent.”

“Do you know what's the human equivalent of what you just said?”

“Of course I do,” he cleared his throat and adopted a valley girl accent. “Oh my God! That's who you like? He's such a five, and you know you're a ten, girl.” Then he flipped his invincible locks.

Elijah couldn't help the laughter that consumed him. Throwing his head back, he laughed his heart out.

“You're out of your mind, Snow!” He exclaimed in disbelief. “You sound exactly like Rhonda's younger sister.”

“Your ex-wife is Rhonda, right?”

Elijah suddenly grew serious. “Yeah, why do you ask?”
