Chapter One hundred and sixty four

***Gabriel's pov***

I tugged hard at my hair. "I'm so foolish. I'm so stupid." I yelled as I sat on the floor. People walking past avoided me like a plague while taking quick glances at me.

I deceived my boss just to satisfy her and her family but what did I get in return,shame and embarrassment.

"If I go back to work,what will I tell Mr Lionel? How am I going to explain to him that my mother was never sick and I made it up just to satisfy my woman?"

I took a taxi back home. I was tired and frustrated.

Diana packed my suitcase and carried it downstairs,dropping it in my car. I called Gabriel several times to ask about his mom but he didn't pick up. I went to check his resume for his address and i took a picture of it with my phone.
