Chp 85 - The Dream

Just like a bystander with no power to stop what he behold; Damien watched them.

There were twelve of them.

Twelve wizards of the First Order stood in the in-between, where no mortal would dare venture and even the most powerful of the supernatural beings would think twice before embarking on.

Their cloaks bellowing, their chants rising as the minutes passed, they invoke the powers that be. That which nobody had ever attempted.

The moon wept and the sky shed bloody tears but nothing deterred them from their mission. The storm grew around them as their chants rose.

One by one they dropped, giving their life essence in the ritual they had set out for. Turning around the currents of the element was not without its consequences after all. One which they were willing to accept before setting out.
