Mr. Douglas' eyes widened as the words reverberated inside his head. He quickly turned to the VC, hoping he would deny Mason's claim. However, when he saw the disappointed expression on the Vice Chairman's face, he returned his gaze to the young chairman, whose piercing eyes became intimidating.

After ignoring the lecturer's stunned expression, Mason brought out his phone and placed it on the table, playing the record of Mr.Douglas Threatening to withdraw Mason's admission, which he had done to other students in the past. Mason stood to his feet, walking towards the speechless Mr.Douglas, standing on shaking legs. Holding the gaze of his dilated pupil, Mason smiled, making Mr.Douglas push another lump down his throat. When Mr. Douglas's figure disappeared through the hallway, Mason averted his eyes to the VC, puzzling at him and not satisfied with his decision to let Mr.Douglas go."Sir, why did you pardon Mr.Douglas considering his crimes and abuse to the student, someone like him doesn't deserve a second chance to even work here?"Mason nodded his head, standing from his seat. "I didn't pardon Mr.Douglas for his sake, vice chairman. I did it for the sake of the students who would be returning to school. They are far behind and would need extra help. That is where Mr.Douglas comes in so he can repair the damage he did," Mason replied, glancing at the assistant, who nodded in understanding. "Okay, sir, if you say so," the VC replied, dropping the topic. Sir, wha

The time a general gathering was announced like this was during his freshman year, and he could not attend due to the part-time jobs he was juggling. The Security guard standing at the entrance of the auditorium building made Mason groan as the reason for their appearance whacked him. He wasn't holding his student pass, which he had forgotten at home. Since it is an official gathering with the university staff, including other high administrators of the University, the security pass will strictly be used. As if that wasn't enough, Mason raised his head to the broadcasting speaker at the top of the building, towering

Silence roamed between the two friends; even when Jeremiah said nothing, he knew he was saying everything. "She is just a friend," Mason said, ignoring Jeremiah's prying gaze, which didn't quench the stunned expression and the sarcasm in his eyes."Since when did you and the prettiest girl in our department become friends?" Jeremiah asked, slurring the last words. Mason didn't bother to provide an answer to the question and quickly dismissed the topic by placing his index finger on his lips to silence Jeremiah. "The ceremony is starting," Masaon said, nodding at the person approaching the dais. Jeremiah reluctantly shifted his eyes to the man holding a microphone, staring at the crowd with a broad smile."Good day, distinguished student it is my pleasure to announce the commencement of the Art project ceremony, and before we do, there are some important personnel I would like to invite to the VIP reservation," he said and shifted his eyes to the card on his hand."Firstly I would lov
