“Do you think I’m a beggar just because I came here with Grandma?” Deryl asked.

He immediately withdrew his hand and then he tried to control the atmosphere. Remember! Now Deryl was an entrepreneur, even though he didn’t know what entrepreneur he was. However, he had to act about it.

“Of course he’s not a ruffian, he’s a very handsome man.” One of the women there chirped. Deryl smiled faintly when he heard that.

“Um, I am a businessman, and I can be said to be an entrepreneur. I’m sure none of you know me, because I’m a businessman in a different field than you.”

Deryl is still boasting proudly, even this was something that could never be imagined. Who would have thought that things would turn out like this? Deryl was still trying to be good, even though in his heart there was a great roar that continued to say that lying was a sin.

“If you are an entrepreneur, then what is your business? What’s your company name? And where is your company located, Mr. Wiltson?”

Deryl remained silent again, unfortunately their questions trapped him. And how should Deryl answer that?

“Why do you ask so many questions like this, sir? Would you like to discuss business with me? If yes then go ahead, I would be very happy with that.”

“Tsk! What a braggart. Even your name is not on any businessman’s list. Then you say that you are a businessman? Do not dream! And better, stop trying to get my grandmother interested in you just so you’ll take a chance. Marry Serena and then seize all the property from the Moe family, right?”

Everyone there immediately fell silent, then Mrs. Moe gave them some of the files she had in her hands.

“He is a property businessman, and his company is very advanced. Indeed, if you search for the name Deryl Witson you will never find it, because his surname was recently changed after his parents separated so Deryl took his mother’s surname. Now are you all satisfied with all this? So stop pressuring Deryl or else I’ll shut you up myself. Everyone there immediately lowered their heads. Embarrassment and all existing feelings roared into one. And after the debate, Mrs Moe immediately took Deryl in, Deryl felt relieved beyond words.

“Thank you very much, Mrs Deryl. You have saved me.”

“Didn’t I tell you from the start that they are a bunch of useless people who only judge a person based on his wealth? That’s why I’ve prepared all this, and luckily it’s useful. Now we will meet Serena, usually at this time she will be sleeping.”

“Is it okay if I go inside her room?”

“Of course, you are her future husband and of course this is a very good thing for everyone.”

Deryl nodded again, he walked following Mrs. Moe’s steps, then he stopped at a closed door. A waiter was already there and opened the door, the appearance of the room with shades of pink was very classic and charming, typical of women. Deryl saw two female servants standing on the right side of the room and then he saw a figure sleeping soundly. The figure that made Deryl transfixed, yes… that woman was like a fairy who was so incredibly beautiful, and that woman was really so, so… perfect. It would be a shame if a woman as perfect as her were to be paralyzed and unable to walk, something that would be very painful.

“She is Serena, she is your future wife. I know she is a very beautiful woman and almost perfect. However, it turns out fate had other plans, Serena was disabled and couldn’t walk. All Serena can do all day is sit in a wheelchair and be pushed by other people to go anywhere, this is very painful for Serena.”

“But I think this woman is really beautiful, Madam. Will Serena want to marry me?”

“Deryl, stop putting yourself down. You are an entrepreneur and that is the reality.”

“What do you mean?”

“I have bought a property company for you and made you the owner and leader of that company, because I am sure that after you get married you will be confused about what to do and there is no way you will work at my company because for sure all the family members will ask about your business. So I gave the company to you, so work there and then run the business, Deryl.”

“Are you crazy, madam?”

“What’s so crazy? I know your educational background, you graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics with perfect grades, and I think studying business issues and then becoming an entrepreneur is not something that is too difficult, right?”

“But-“

“I will give you a trusted employee where he will teach you slowly about business and you can learn a lot from him. Okay?”

Deryl could only hold his breath perfectly, it was like he had caught a trap and Deryl didn’t know what to answer.

“Okay, this looks like an exciting challenge. Haven’t I earned a lot of money? Let’s just say I have to work for it.”

“Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with that either, as long as you do what you have to do.”

“Grandma…” whispered Serena, who seemed quite disturbed by Deryl’s argument with Mrs. Moe. Mrs. Moe immediately looked at her granddaughter and then rushed over to her.  “Who’s he?” Serena asked, pointing at Deryl. Mrs. Moe looked at Deryl as if giving instructions to Deryl to introduce herself.

Still with a nervous, tense and embarrassed expression on his face, Deryl then approached Serena, then he knelt right in front of Serena. Taking Serena’s soft hand and kissing the back of Serena’s fragrant hand.

“I am Deryl Wiltson, your future husband.”

Serena looked silent, she looked at Deryl for a moment then suddenly Serena pulled her hand from Deryl’s grasp quite roughly. Deryl immediately stood up, he felt that he had taken the wrong step in introducing himself to Serena.

“Grandma, please throw this man out of my room!”
