Meanwhile, Authur was drinking a cup of coffee when he suddenly thought about Chloe.

Even though she had agreed to do what he asked, he wanted her to tell the Carter family herself.

No one knew he was the mastermind behind all the misfortune that had happened to them within those few hours.

He smirked and dialed Chloe's number on his phone. "Did your family agree or not? If they didn't then I would love to see the Carter group go down, wouldn't you Chloe?" Authur teased her a little.

"I am outside your mansion and I am willing to do whatever you ask me to" 

Authur smiled as he heard her voice, his ex-wife who always spoke to him harshly was now speaking to him politely.

He ended the call and instructed the security outside to allow her into the mansion.

Authur was in the large living room, anyone who walked in would have thought they were in heaven.

The living room was furnished with elegant sofas and sleek designs.

The elevator opened and Chloe entered the living room, at first she was shocked by the scenery but she shook it off.

"You came early, I like that!" Authur sized her up and laughed sinisterly, he found it hard to believe that he had once tried to please the woman standing before him "You can sit!" 

"Thank you" Chloe sat down and crossed her legs majestically, but immediately uncrossed it when she saw Authur look at her disdainfully.

She didn't want to piss him off, so she knew she had to behave respectfully.

"Now you can sign the documents and I will announce the partnership between Emerald Isle and Carter's group tomorrow" Authur casually threw the documents on her body and he felt pleased watching her pick it up.

Chloe removed a pen from her pocket and signed the contract without even reading the paper, all she wanted was to keep the Carter's Company relevant.

Authur noticed that she didn't read it but he didn't say a word, suddenly his system popped up and displayed a lot of messages.

Authur was amazed by the number of Experience points he got, he had never gotten that many, even after defeating the reaper in the game world.

But one thing was sure, he didn't know how to use attribute points, he had used it once and he gained a powerful confidence spirit he had never felt before.

He decided to ask his system through his mind.

"What are attribute points?" 

The system knew when Authur was communicating with him and when he wasn't, so it replied.

[Attributes points are points given to the host to reward the host for their hard work after defeating an opponent]

[If the host defeats a powerful opponent then the host gets more attribute points, but if host defeats a less powerful opponent then host gets fewer attributes points]

[The number of attribute points the host gets determines how strong or weak an opponent is]

[Strength gives the host power in real life and the game world, it gives the host more power, depending on the amount of strength the host has.]

[Social skills allow the host to get successful business deals in the real world and always works well with charms]

[Confidence boost gives the host the ability to feel powerful and superior]

[Intelligence is useful in the real world and in the game world, in the real world, hosts can use intelligence to solve real-world problems and make good choices.< In the game world, the host can use intelligence to determine the opponents' next move and attack before they attack.]

The system stated the rules and told Authur about the elements.

Authur listened carefully and turned his attention back to Chloe, who was gawking at him.

"Why are you staring at me like that huh?" Authur snorted loudly at her.

Immediately Chloe realized what she was doing, she hit her head with her palm lightly and cursed herself for admiring Authur, she didn't know why he suddenly looked more attractive than he already was.

Seeing her act strangely made him realize what was going on, he had added one point to the charm element and even he was starting to admire his shiny skin.

"System did the one point I added to charm make me more attractive?" Authur quickly asked the system.

"Turn it off"

[Host charm has been turned off]

Authur checked his skin and saw that it wasn't as shiny as it was before, he was a little bit sad but he didn't want to use his charms around Chloe.

"Chloe get ready, tomorrow is Sage's birthday and you will be the one to serve the drinks to everyone, I will invite the Carter's and I know they wouldn't dare to dishonor my invitation."
