Chapter 9 He Didn't Lie
Tyrone was pleased to see Timothy's aggrieved expression. "Timothy, my wife doesn't have to meet you for dinner with her stockings, right?"

A cacophony of laughter surrounded Timothy, causing his face to redden with anger. He glared at Tyrone while shaking his head. "No! I was just kidding yesterday."

Ysabella walked over, looking at Tyrone with a complicated expression.

"Tyrone sold 100 houses for your company. As the heir to the company, you should at least show some gratitude, right?" Cole asked.

"Yes. Of course. Don't worry, Mr. Bennet. I'll give Tyrone the commission right away! No, I'll give him an extra 20% for the commission."

Under Cole's watchful gaze, Tyrone soon received a text. Hearing the notification, Ysabella grabbed the phone and counted the zeros in the sum that had just been transferred to his account. The commission was worth 2.2 million dollars.

Ysabella covered her mouth in excitement, as this was the first time she'd witnessed someone earn so much money at once. Her useless husband had actually created a miracle!

Tyrone smiled as he noticed the joy on her face.

On the side, Cole could see the adoration in Tyrone's eyes and thought, "It seems Mr. Hendrick isn't just simply trying to make a woman happy. He really loves her. I have to maintain a good relationship with her in the future."

Then he recalled how Tyrone had mentioned Timothy asking Tyrone's wife to take her stockings for dinner and felt he hadn't done enough to avenge them. So he said icily, "I think your sincerity isn't enough."

"Not enough? Mr. Bennet, I—"

"I always believe in being kind and gracious to talented people. To show your gratitude toward Tyrone, you should bow and apologize to him."

"Bow and apologize?" Timothy screamed internally. It wasn't just him; all the other employees were also astonished, as they hadn't expected Cole to go this far.

Mr. Bennet, don't you think you're crossing the line? I would rather not sell the 100 housing units than bow and apologize to this useless bastard. It's impossible!" Timothy's expression was sour, to say the least.

"Impossible? Fine." Cole nodded slightly and didn't continue. Instead, he asked for Owen Jenkin's phone number.

Owen Jenkin was the president of Jenkin Group and Timothy's father. Once he'd been brought up to speed about the situation, Owen made a promise to Cole before immediately calling Timothy and scolding him.

"You bastard! All you do is stir up trouble! I'm warning you, you'd better do as Mr. Bennet asks. Forget bowing and apologizing; even if he asks you to bang your head on the ground, you must do it properly. Otherwise, I'll take away your shares in the company!"

Needless to say, Timothy's expression was bitter when he ended the call. However, he understood why Owen had scolded him. Even if they didn't sell the housing units, they had to uphold Cole's dignity.

In the end, Timothy took a deep breath and made up his mind. As everyone watched on, he gritted his teeth and gave Tyrone a perfect bow. "Tyrone, on behalf of our company, I would like to express my gratitude for your outstanding contribution! I hope you'll continue working with us and take our company to greater heights!"

None of the employees dared to take pictures of the scene, but the clients quickly snapped pictures and posted them on different social media platforms.

It didn't take long for the news to go viral.

"Heir to Jenkin Group, bows and apologizes to a real estate agent!"

When Timothy got up, Tyrone sneered, unpinned his work badge, and threw it on his face. "Sorry, this company is too small. Plus, the people working here are incompetent. I'm not interested in staying."

Ysabella was dumbfounded as she looked at Tyrone's indifferent expression. His demeanor was completely different from before. In the past, he would always look down when facing the people who bullied him and never dared to make any move to fight back.

Tyrone walked to her and gently touched her face before smiling, "I'll leave first, but I'll pick you up after work."

"Okay." Ysabella subconsciously nodded before staring at his straight and strong figure.

After a while, she snapped back to reality and opened up WhatsApp. With trembling hands, she opened her best friend's chat and sent her a text. "He didn't lie this time. He even gave me a surprise! It was such a shock, but I'm so happy!"
