Marcus raised his head, surprised and startled, "What the hell did you just say? My father was the one who sent you to kill someone?"

"Yeah, your father sent me. The female CEO is the target; your father ordered me to do so," he stated, his voice shaky. The knife dropped from his hand, and he walked like a zombie closer to the minister.

"What did father have on you to keep controlling you, you, the whole Minister of War?" Marcus demanded, grabbing him by the collar.

The minister sniffed and stayed mute.

"Tell me now, or do you want to bleed to death?" He threatened. Kathie frowned; she had never seen this side of Marcus.

He raised his hand to give him a blow but was stopped by a helicopter sound approaching them. The light was all over them as they all gazed up, wondering who was coming.

The helicopter landed safely, and the engine died down. Some men in black rushed down and opened one of the doors.

Mr. Thonks alighted, dressed in total black, with a long black stick in his hand.
