Chapter 136: Morning Wood

Ivan had been staring at Donna for hours now. He couldn't sleep after what his father had told him. He had been trying to wrap his head around everything, but he couldn't seem to do it.

But staring at Donna calmed him down, and he could think clearly. His father said he had to tell her soon or he might regret it. However, he couldn't tell her now; he would have to wait until they got back from Italy.

He had to start somewhere because his father said she had to be with him. He knew he had to do something, but he wasn't sure what.

Now that he knew what his father wanted to tell him, they were going to embark on the journey to Italy tomorrow. Donna had been tossing and turning ever since he started looking at her; it seemed like she couldn't sleep properly.

He remembered how he took her on his lap while they were on their way to this place; she slept peacefully, he could tell. So he decided to do the same again. He stripped down to his joggers and climbed into bed.
