Chapter 5

"Traffic is boring, guys!" Zaliyah complained while looking out the glass window of the car. They are currently stopped in the traffic area of Taguig.

"We'll be here for a long time, Mamo. Can we just go around, right?" Colthen suggested. "The NAIA expressway is the only traffic we will cross."

"What are you going to do there?" Mamo blocked him, which caused Chaleigh to look up at them. "We won't turn around and we won't turn around! We're going to Batangas because we're just going to ship!" He snarled at Colthen and hit him on the head with a fan.

"Shall we go across the sea?" Yvaine and Vyze asked at the same time. Mamo looked at the two and they looked at each other. When Chaleigh looked ahead, Mamo turned to them.

"Are we rich enough to take a plane? Maybe you'll make money later with your vlog on Mt. Enigma, not even your fare!" He continued and self-indulgent.

"How much does it cost to flight, Mamo?" Bax asked from behind and Chaleigh turned around. It was just too difficult for her that's why she couldn't last long.

"Will you pay for all our fares?" Mamo asked raising his brows.

"Just asking Mamo," Bax snorted.

"Maybe a ticket is more than four thousand," Mamo replied, so they looked at him.

"What about, the one person head on the ship, Mamo?"

"One thousand nine hundred per head," he answered.

"Closed?" Bax asked, Mamo nodded. "How do you know, Mamo?"

"I'm already booked for it," Mamo answered while pointing at the cell phone he was holding in his other hand. Bax just didn't speak.

Everyone was quiet so she just adjusted her seat. She felt Yvaine's movement then she looked at her. She just took bottled water and drank it.

A few hours later, she felt the hooking of her hip. She did not know what position she should take to relieve the numbness in her legs.

She wanted to straighten it but the chair in front was in the way. She can't even stand up and has trouble lying down. She can only sit facing right, facing left and straight.

"We're here!" Mamo exclaimed like a child when they arrived at the Batangas port. Mamo still acts like a teenager even in his forties. It's far apart in their ages, the youngest being twenty-three—which she is.

She looked through the glass window of the car and saw the wide port outside. Many stevedores are already standing and taking care of the vessels entering the port.

Colthen also stopped at its entrance and Mamo spoke to the attendant. She couldn't hear what they talked about. She just saw Mamo take money out of it as payment.

She simply ignored the matter and continued to observe outside. Like her, the rest of her companions do the same.

"Guys, honestly. This is my first time on a ship," Vyze suddenly said, currently observing the outside.

"Me too," Yvaine said and also looked out. "I think it's more exciting than the airplane. It's okay for me."

They were in that situation when she suddenly felt that she wants to use the comfort room.  "I-I want to go to CR," she said and the two looked at her.

Suddenly the car started after the conversation of the people in front. "There might be a CR inside," Yvaine encouraged her. She just nodded and the car moved to continue.

They had to queue for a long time because of the number of processes their van went through.

Each guard signed something, gave a paper, paid something until they reached their terminal. It stopped at the queue of private cars and the stevedores let them down there as well.

"Guys, bring only important things so it won't be difficult," Mamo announced. "Foods, Wallet, some clothes, cellphone, and touch-up items. We're going to walk up to the ship."

She immediately moved but stunned when she remembered that her clothes were inside the suitcase. That's why she doesn't know which one to prioritize. Get things ready or go downstairs first because she's about to pee.

"Mamo, I don't have an extra bag. I really need to bring my Suitcase," she said.

"You will bring it and then the people waiting on the ship will open it. They might dig around and scatter your things," he reasoned. Because of that, she got into more trouble, she just rubbed her neck.

"Just take your things from there and then just put them here in my bag," suggested Vyze. She looked at her and winced when she saw her small bag.

"Are you serious?" she asked, still holding her belly because she was peeing so much.

"Yes, hurry up or they will left us," Vyze said urgently. She looked around and noticed that the rest of them had gone down. Because of that, she quickly opened her suitcase.

She moved quickly that she accidentally elbowed Wynce's leg as he passed behind her. Wynce lost his balance but just laughed at himself and ruffled her hair—kindly. Her dizzy urea still hindered her actions. She didn't want to hold back her urine but in this situation she can do nothing.

"I'll wait for you downstairs," Yvaine said goodbye and took a big step in front of her because the suitcase was in the way.

She saw her towel lying on top of her clothes. It was so thick that's why she gapped and looked up at Vyze. "I need this," she said pouted.

"I have something here, let's just share," Vyze said. But she is not used to using other people's things.

"I'll just bring my suitcase," she insisted and was about to close it but Vyze spoke.

"What are you doing, Chaleigh? You'll be in trouble later. It looks like we're going to have a long walk to the pier," she reasoned. She was even more confused about what she should do.

"But our things doesn't fit in your bag," she reasoned.

"That's fine, you just have to bring only—" Vyze stopped speaking when suddenly a black backpack fell by her side. She and Vyze looked at the man standing next to her.

"What are you doing here?" Vyze asked again annoyed at him. And when she looked at his face, she saw Vynx.

He ignored his twin and just met her eyes. "My bag is loose, you can put your things in it," he suggested to her. Her tongue felt stiff and she couldn't react immediately before he left. She just followed him with her eyes when he got out of the van.

"Gosh! Why he acted gentledog?" Vyze reacted what Vynx did and looked at the direction of the van's door.

Vyze turned her gaze to her. "Use that, but don't fall in love with him," she said, frowning at her.

"What do you mean by the fall in love? You're crazy," she glared at Vyze and took the black bag from her side. It's embarrassing but she really needs it now.

"Hey Girl!" Vyze bowed to her while she unzipped the bag. "Even though we often fight, I still agree that he's handsome. Of course! He's my twin and I know you're also recognized him as handsome too. Say no..." When she looked up, she saw her staring at her. Her eyes suddenly squinted because of her index finger pointed in the middle of her two eyes. "Because if you do you also just said that I'm not pretty too!" She laughed  at what Vyze said.

She didn't speak any more to talk to Vyze about that. She just looked inside the bag and winced when she saw Vynx's things in it.

She wanted to ask if it was okay for him if their things to mix inside the bag but what else could she do? He left already and she has no choice but to put her clothes in it as well.

After they got off the van, Mamo immediately greeted them with a ticket. According to him, they have to show it up to their ship.

Together, Vyze and Yvaine headed to the comfort room of the terminal. When she entered the toilet room, justice was given to the scream of her urea she felt earlier.

She breathed a sigh of relief because of that. After she got out of the toilet room, she found her friends coloring their faces again in front of the mirror. She also accompanied them.

"You know, Sis? I really don't get it," Yvaine said. "Why can't you and your twin get along? Is there a big reason?" Yvaine asked Vyze. She also asked that before, ever since she joined this group—Team Unico-nature adventures.

They are often blocked, hitting each other for no reason. She used to think that maybe they had a deep quarrel. But every time she asked Vyze about it, she had only one answer.

"It's just that we're not close to each other."

Yvaine stopped applying lipstick because of Vyze's answer. "You're not close to each other but if you fight each other it's like you're mortal enemies?" she asked while looking at Vyze.

Vyze first put the things on her face inside the pouch and then faced Yvaine. Chaleigh, on the other hand, was waiting for what she would say while combing the hair that she took from the black bag she was also carrying.

"Because you guys know! That's normal for me and my Brother. And yes!" She gave a shrug which she always did especially when she was talking energetically. "We don't agree on many things, but that doesn't mean we don't care about each other anymore. Guys, hello! If only one of us gets sick, the other one won't be restless either!"

She didn't say a word anymore when she realized that she had a point. Yvaine nodded then spoke, "It's so cute that you two don't have a deep fight—"

"No! We didn't fight anything except for the fact that my ex and I broke up because of him," Vyze snapped, causing Yvaine to stop. Her eyes narrowed into slit in the process of closing Vynx's bag.

"Because of him?" Yvaine asked.

"...Yes." Vyze seems hesitated to answer and looked away. "Actually, he did the right thing. I'm the only one who's stupid," she said shyly and raised two fingers while still smiling fakely. "I still love that man and I don't want to set him free even though he's been cheating on me face to face. As for my Brother, he doesn't want to treat me like that. He's confronting me..." She snorted somewhere. "About that ex of mine," she added and then grinned. "I was angry for about a month but I realized that I had moved on. But I didn't apologize to Vynx." She and Yvaine looked at each other when Vyze said the last thing. "Am I bad?" she asked, then grinned.

"Yes, Sis! It's good to strangle you. Poor Vynx, it looks like he really loves you as his sister," Yvaine snarled at Vyze.

"It's ended," Vyze said. "He looks like he's in love with someone else, ouch!" She held his chest and pretended to be hurt.

"Huh?" Yvaine started to exclaim but Vyze looked at her. Because of that, her cheeks heated up and she felt that she was blushing with shame, especially since Yvaine also looked at her.

"W-What..." She blinked when Vyze grinned at her. "Hey! The person only volunteered because he saw my uneasy situation. You know that? Caring as a friend?" she clarified and stepped out of the comfort room.

"You just thought that! My twin brother likes you, you just don't notice it, Chaleigh!"
