"There's nothing on earth that will make me consider Renee's freedom. Not even for once," Lucas said to Mr. Williams.

"Lucas, I understand all, and with that, we will hold to our peace," Mr. Williams replied.

Determined and unyielding, Lucas stormed into the prison to confront Thomas. As he approached the cell, a smirk spread across his face. "I believe you are enjoying your place. The next time you have your freedom, you will learn to understand that I am not your mate," Lucas mocked.

Thomas, sitting calmly on the cold, hard bench, looked up with unwavering confidence. "I won't give up, Lucas. I will do everything possible to get Norah back," he declared, his voice steady and resolute.

Lucas's smirk faded, replaced by a sneer. "You think you can challenge me? You're nothing but a fool, Thomas. This prison is where you belong, and it's where you'll stay," he taunted, stepping closer to the bars.
