Chapter Fifty
Norah paced nervously in her study, her heart racing with anticipation as she awaited Charles’s return from Oscorp. She had spent countless hours carefully gathering evidence, determined to uncover the truth about Emma and her evil plans. The room was adorned with shelves of books and antique artifacts, a reflection of Norah’s intellect and curiosity.

When the front door finally swung open, Norah’s heart skipped a beat. She rushed out of the study and Charles stood in the doorway, his briefcase in hand. His usually composed demeanor was replaced by a hint of weariness, no doubt a result of another long day at the company.
