Chapter Twenty-six

It was a monday morning, and Charles and Norah woke up with smiles on their faces. They had spent the entire weekend together, laughing, exploring, and getting to know each other better. It had been a whirlwind of emotions, and they couldn’t help but feel butterflies in their stomachs as they got ready to face the new week ahead.

Charles looked at Norah, her messy hair cascading down her shoulders, and he couldn’t resist giving her a soft kiss on the forehead. “Good morning, beautiful,” he whispered, making her cheeks blush.

“Good morning, handsome,” Norah replied, her eyes twinkling with affection. “I can’t believe how much fun we had this weekend.”

Charles grinned. “Me neither. It was perfect.”

As they got out of bed, they found themselves playfully stealing glances at each other while getting ready. Charles put on a crisp white shirt and dark blue tie, and Norah chose a vibrant red dress that matched her joyful spirit.
