Lin glanced at his wounds. Blood continued to ooze from the wounds as Ethan targeted his arteries. His heart was beating faster and his head was getting dizzy. “Ugh... my head!”

Ethan grinned. “Your blood keeps coming out. In a matter of minutes, you'll be dead. Not even the hospital can help you. But I can.”

Lin's breathing began to fall apart. He felt that her body was getting colder. Images of the past began to appear in his mind. Lin knew that he would die if he continued like this. “Alright! I'll say it! We gathered at the 21st floor of the Axilon building when we got the order. The next meeting will be held in three days. That's all I know!”

Ethan pressed the tip of his gun against Lin's forehead. “What else do you know?”

Lin started to feel very dizzy. He whined. “That's all I know! I don't know anything else! Please, save me. I'm already starting to lose consciousness--”

Her delicate eyebrows immediately furrowed sharply, creating a firm line on her forehead.Ethan had said something very upsetting. Thalia's body stiffened, her lips curling in cold mockery. “A stupid, useless person like you has no manners. You don't even know what you're talking about. You dare to say that to me, a member of the Blake family. You're looking for trouble.”Ethan remained standing calmly. His smile was thin, barely visible, just enough to cause curiosity. His eyes looked at Thalia without emotion. Too often Ethan had listened to insults. even in Ethan's mind, he could only shake his head. “Thalia, this woman never changes.”Ethan shook his head lightly. A small, dismissive smile appeared on the corner of his lips. “Thalia, oh Thalia.”Ethan's voice sounded soft, but held another meaning. “I never cared whether you

Hugo stepped forward, turned the doorknob gracefully, then pushed it slowly. He smiled respectfully at Ethan. “Please, Mr. Ethan. This is your room.”The room behind the door exuded undeniable elegance. The crystal chandelier reflected warm light onto the walls decorated with classical ornaments. A large mahogany table stood firmly in the center, with leather swivel chairs that looked inviting to sit on. A relaxed but dignified atmosphere filled the air.Ethan stepped inside without hesitation. His leather shoes made a soft sound as they touched the shiny marble floor. He walked slowly towards the swivel chair behind the desk, then sat down in a relaxed yet authoritative manner. The backrest of the chair accepted his back comfortably, while both hands rested on the arms of the chair. He turned the chair slightly, looking at Hugo who stood with a proud smile.Hugo looked relieved, like a heavy burden had finally been lifted. The small smile on his face signaled undisguised happiness. H

Ethan gave a small nod, his faint smile still plastered on. “Good. Make sure they know their limits.”Hugo straightened his body, then quickly left the room, his shoes clicking softly on the shiny floor. The door closed softly, leaving Ethan back standing in front of the large window. He gazed at the city of Silverhaven, his eyes radiating a mixture of calmness and firmness.Hugo exited the room with quick, decisive steps. The door slammed shut, leaving Ethan sitting back in his cushioned chair. He leaned back, hands interlocked in his lap. A thin, meaningful smile graced his face. His eyes narrowed, as if he was weighing something. In almost a whisper, he said to himself, “You shouldn't play with fire, Thalia.”On the other side of the building, the Blake family boardroom was filled with enthusiastic energy. The old wooden door creaked softly as Ethan pushed it with his fingertips. Cold air mixed with damp smells greeted him immediately, like the scent of a long-locked basement. His footsteps were barely audible as he entered the building, as if the dusty old floor didn't want to betray his presence. Sunlight only slipped through a few small cracks in the windows.Ethan scanned the room. Nearly collapsed wooden shelves stood along the walls, filled with dusty bottles and almost illegible labels. The traces of time were clearly imprinted on every corner of the store, from the shabby carpet to the cracked ceiling. He stepped up to the glass display case in the center of the room, looked at the soberly displayed goods, then pressed the small bell on the counter. The sharp clinking sound echoed in the silence, as if disturbing the sleeping souls in the place.A man appeared, wearing a neat black suit with a crimson bow tie. His appearance contrasted with the condition of the building, but the

Trevor calmly turned around, placing his gun on the dusty display case. His movements seemed confident, but there was a mystery lurking behind his smile. With one swift movement, Ethan slipped his dagger back into the holster, but his eyes remained fixed on Trevor. A shadow of suspicion crossed his mind. “How can you make something stronger than your grandfather's work?”Trevor tilted his head, as if savoring the moment. “That's why he retired. I've perfected his technique. He knew it was time to leave the shop to me.”He paused for a moment, staring intently at Ethan. “So, what are you looking for, legendary Mr. Demon Hunter?”Ethan

His fingers tightened on the revolver's handle, almost pulling the trigger involuntarily. A disgusting sound rang out as the Wendigo's skin fused back together.
