Chapter 2_Betrayal.

A surprised look appeared on her face as she found Perseus standing there in his regular worn-out clothes.

Celia's eyes met Perseus, and then she looked away, embarrassment and guilt kicking in as Perseus had caught her with someone else. She couldn't look him in the eye properly.

She was about to hurry over to him, but when she saw the heartbroken look in his eyes, She had second thoughts.

Perseus knew that their relationship was a little bit complicated, but he never thought that she would cheat on him with someone else. Was it because he had no money?

"Perseus, it isn't what you think it is." She muttered. "He is a distant cousin of mine."

Perseus glared at her. "You kiss your cousin?'' His body was vibrating in anger.

All this time, he had thought that they were an item. It turns out that he had been a joke in the relationship and wasn't loved by her.

"We weren't going to kiss." Celia lied as she raised her hand in defense. "I had something in my eye."

The man was irritated hearing Celia try to cover up for what Persues had seen. "Tsk. Aren't you my fiancé's boyfriend? I was just telling her to break up with you, and you know what? She agreed. She also thinks that you are not worthy of her."

By the time the words left the man's lips, pursuits saw red. His body was vibrating with rage, and he tried to control his anger.

His high-pitched voice earlier had attracted the attention of the students of the school. Since one of the beauties' names was yelled out that way, the voice claimed that she was cheating.

It was going to be good gossip.

Students from the school hurried over in that direction. In a minute, Perseus was standing along with Celia, and the huge man was crowded with the students of the school.

Perseus fist tightened after getting cheated on. He was going to be embarrassed, too.

"She agreed to date me two months ago, and you know about our relationship, but you still chose her." Perseus muttered, his eyes on the big man.

The man pulled Celia into his arms, and this time she didn't break or try to shake his arm off. Everyone from school was there, and she didn't want to ruin her reputation.

Gritting her teeth, she scoffed. She had thought that she was going to keep using him to do petty things for her. Now that he had caught her cheating, her plans had failed.

"Date him two months ago? How is that even possible?" A female onlooker questioned the other.

"He is probably lying; how could she even look at him?"

"I heard the rumors around campus, but I thought it was just a rumor." One rubbed his temples. "I also thought they were friends."

"Celia can't be friends with that trash."

"He might have threatened the innocent girl to date him, and she agreed out of fear."

"Hah! The school mad horse loser thought he found himself a beauty. Now that she is in another man's hand, what are you going to do about it?"

The man pulled Celia even closer and whispered into her ear. "You see, baby, your mates support our relationship. Now is the best time for you to get rid of that loser and be with me. If you do it, I will probably get you all the luxurious bags you pick at Nerus."

At the mention of Nerus, Celia's eyes glittered. Who would want to miss the opportunity to get a bag at Nerus? Nerus was a popular shopping company for ladies; rich ladies flock in and out of it like bees.

A smile appeared on her face; it was going to be so easy dealing with pursuits.

Perseus still stood there; he could have turned away, but he wanted to hear from Celia. He wanted to know what he did wrong that made her cheat on him. Even though he knew what really happened, she has really left him for someone with money.

The man next to Celia was huge, and Perseus knew that he was unable to compete with the man.

"My baby is going to explain everything that has happened in these two months she has been with Perseus." The man addressed the students. "Who do you all vote for? Me or Perseus Damon?"

"We will go for you; who the hell is pursues?''

"What can Perseus get Celia? Look at the sports car behind the other guy.''

"Perseus cannot be compared to the other dude."

Seeing that everyone didn't know his name, the huge man placed a hand on his chest. "The name is Roman Sullivan."

The crowd gasped.

Perseus brows knitted in confusion: What was so special about the man that made the students gasp? He had only said his name; why do they look so surprised?

"Are you the famous Roman who went abroad to study and is back? One of the male onlookers demanded.

Roman nodded his head with pride. “Yes, it is me. My baby is going to address Perseus, and after that, I will take you all for lunch at Yuri's. Bills on me!”

The crowd went into an uproar, yelling at Celia to get this all over, which she did. Celia stepped close to him and pointed an accusing finger at him.

“Perseus Damon, you threatened me to date you after you stalked me for a whole month. I tried to refuse, but somehow you got my number and began sending threatening messages. Then I agreed to give you a chance, just for you to leave me alone. How could I not date Roman? What made you think that I would date you? Look at you; you are as poor as a church rat, and you grew up in the slum. He is better than you, and now that he is here, he can't bully me anymore.” Her eyes darkened as she stepped closer to him, standing an inch away. “Since you are here and you want to make a scene, you can no longer threaten me. What else can you do?” She leaned in and chuckled mockingly. “How do you like my acting, Perseus?”

Perseus's eyes widened, and he slightly pushed her. “Get away from me, you bitch!”

Taking advantage of the moment, she threw herself back dramatically and fell on the floor on her buttocks, as if he had pushed her hard.

“Did he just push Celia Aaron?”

“What's Roman going to do about it?
