Perseus glanced at Delinder. She was in a long silver dress and high heels, her gaze focused intently on him. “Okay. Why?”

Delinder arched her brows, taking out her phone and holding it up for him to see. “You were supposed to reply to my texts,” she stated. “That was one of the rules of the streaming platform.”

Perseus stared at her phone. “You sent a text?”

She growled in frustration. “Didn’t you say that we should send a text?” she demanded. “We spent the amount needed to have a private meeting with you.”

Perseus frowned, tempted to buy the streaming company and change the rules. However, there was no point in altering rules that had already benefited him greatly.

“Are you willing to spend this private time with me here?” Perseus asked.

She frowned at him. “No way!”

“Have a little respect for my fiancée,” he replied. “She came here with me, and we are partners at this party. I don’t know who you are, and you don’t know me, so don’t look for me.”
