Chapter 5_Completing the First Mission.

“I am not a ghost!” Perseus raised his hand in the air. “I just want to check out of the hospital; I am not dead yet.”

However, the woman fainted before he could say anything else. He glanced around them to see that the other nurses were running over to him alongside the doctor.

“How come he is alive?” The doctor demanded as he froze, seeing who it was. “I diagnosed him dead last night!”

"Perhaps he has a twin brother.” A nurse muttered as she shivered in fear.

Perseus wanted to tell them that he didn't have a twin, but he saw the expression on their faces. He changed his mind; he had no idea how he was going to explain the system to them.

“Yes, I have a twin. He died last night; we already took him to his funeral.” He lied.

[Warning! You have a minute left if you keep on wasting time. Say goodbye to your little cock. Hmph!]

The doctor and nurses let out a sigh of relief. “You just have to pay for the fee of him being in the hospital.”

“And how much is it?”

“Five hundred thousand dollars.”

Five hundred! Perseus's teeth gritted. “Are there any patients that need anything?”

The doctor adjusted his glasses. “Yes, there is.” The doctor turned around and pointed to a woman who was sitting on a chair and clutching tightly to a boy in her arms. “She needs money for his operation.”

“Then I will pay for it!” Perseus declared. “I will pay for her son's medical expenses, everything!”

[Ten seconds left.]

“Give me three million dollars in cash.” He told the system.

Before he knew it, a bag of money was by his feet. He grabbed the bag and opened it as the countdown warned him about the time left. He turned the bag and poured the money on the floor.

“Three million in cash, is that enough?” He bellowed.

“Yes.” The doctor's eyes were on the money that was on the floor. “The woman's son's treatment costs 2.5 million dollars.”

Perseus glanced at the woman and then at that doctor. “Is it settled now?”

The doctor raised his head to look at him. “Yes, it is all settled. You are free to go after signing this.”

[Three seconds left.]

He signed the documents after snatching them from the doctor and sighed in relief, saving himself from the wrath of the system.

[RING!] Mission completed; reward had been granted. Punishment had been brushed off.

Great! He was grinning from ear to ear as he headed out of the hospital. Before he left, the doctors were informing the woman about who paid the bill.

As soon as she heard that, she hurried over to thank him, but he had already left.

Perseus walked down the road, the wind blowing off his hair backward. He wasn't like he was before; he had a real smile on his face.

Now was the time that he was going to show everyone who the real Perseus Damon was. He wasn't going to spare everyone who looked down on him; he was going to make them pay for all they did.

[DING DONG!]

[Since you accomplished your mission, the system is going to take its real shape now.]

Perseus stopped as he waited for the system to take its real shape. The system's shape finally changed and took the form of a female.

His jaw dropped in astonishment at how beautiful she was. He was drooling when the same electric current hit him again.

[I knew from the start that you were a pervert.]

It was then that he knew that the electric current he had experienced earlier was from the system.

“I was just staring. He shrugged. "Besides, you should be glad that I could only see you.”

[Nonsense!]

He chuckled as he walked back towards the dormitory.

[RING! You have a new mission.]

Your current balance is $97,000,000. Burn it all; spend all of it in 2 days.

[Reward: 1 full stats point and 500 points.]

[Punishment: An embarrassing video of you on a streaming platform.]

“What? Don't you know how to pick a punishment?”

The system glared at him, and he pouted as it disappeared. He walked back to the dormitory, wondering what he was going to do with the money.

As soon as he walked into the dorm, both of his roommates had their heads glued to the screen.

“Who are you? We are busy.” They muttered without turning their heads to look at him.

He didn't listen to them and took a step forward. One of them raised his head to look at him.

“We just lost a friend; we are tired of you all barging in to tell us sorry." He froze as he stared at the person in front of him.

“Who is it?” The second one demanded and raised his head two.

Both boys jumped off their seats and stared at him.

“How is it possible?!"

“You were dead!”

“I saw the livestream; I saw you taken to the hospital and declared dead by your girlfriend!”

Perseus wasn't surprised, although he hadn't expected her to talk about him on her lifestream.

“Tobias, Orion, I am not dead.” He announced. “I was just framed.”

“But how?” Tobias inquired. “We saw your face; we saw how injured you were.”

“We also heard everything after you were dumped by Celia. You got into an accident, and she live-streamed the whole incident by the time you were sent to the hospital.”

Tobias' fist tightened. “That bitch! She said that you committed suicide because she broke up with you.”

Orion's eyes were bloodshot and puffy from crying. “She spoke about how you stalked her and threatened to kill her if she didn't date you. Then you committed suicide when you failed to make her yours.”

“You should stay indoors; all those crazy fans are going to hurt you! I told you that the b*tch wasn't good enough for you. Look how she framed you.”
